Next round, Balmain junior reps games against Manly are not at Leichhardt on Saturday, they are actually at Brookvale Oval on Thursday night with I think a 6pm kickoff for Matts and 7:30 for Ball.

Matts is at 5:30 ball is at 7:00.

Thanks for the updates Damo. Despite Balmain being on the end of a big score, who played well for them today?

And congrats again to Balmain in the Matts and SG Ball. Hopefully this young talent continues to develop. Sounds like the Tigers NYC side will have a couple of Balmain boys pushing for selection mid season.

Great defensive game today from the Balmain SG Ball team, Cronulla had a heap of Ball but struggled to penetrate this teams solid defence. Seemed like almost every time Cronulla either dropped the ball or off loaded the Ref ruled that we got a touch or knocked it on.
Andrew Kazzi was IMO the best player on the field with Daniel Rakvin not far behingd him. Kazzi's 1on 1 defence was terrific and he hits hard every time he makes a tackle, Rakvin pulled off some great 1 on 1 tackles right on the line and saved a couple tries he also after moving up into the front row today and was a big metre maker for us. Fasio Tatola also played well in his best performance so far this season. We had both of our starting props out today and all of our forwards really stood up to help cover the loss of Lolo Funaki and Leckie Taumalolo for this game.
We have Lolo and Paul Simona returning next week for the Minor Premiership decider against Manly.
