@gallagher I'd like to see 10 games a year at Bankwest. LO and CSS 1 game each. And as an acknowledgement to the foundation clubs I'd like to see us play in the Balmain Phillips strip at LO and the Wests Victa strip at CSS.

@gallagher yep - either one - both iconic jerseys. I just like the Victa because the Wests sides of the late 70's were tough as and they were Wests first sponsor.

I suspect the penny will drop from tomorrow Re home grounds ... I do not agree with the notion of playing in jerseys of days gone by . Our club is in a fight for survival the notion of always going backwards and living in the past will only bring on the inevitable. Our club needs a home ground that will attract NEW supporters and a club that embraces the FUTURE and moving forward , the old guard have to take a back seat ,those days are gone and need to be left in the past . Our club have a lot of important decisions to make in the not to distant future but unfortunately with the comments made by O’Farrell in the paper this morning he is just someone else living in the past and this is a real problem ,this thinking will eventually destroy our club.
The club IMO are trying to get on the front foot as what the paying public will see tomorrow is the future and the question will be ask by the majority of the supporter base this is what we want !
But have the club got the intestinal fortitude to deliver it !

Agree although i don't see acknowledging the foundation clubs for 2 games a year is a backward step. But each to their own. I too was a bit dismayed at O'Farell's comments of maintaining the suburban grounds long term. He says he wants WT to become the benchmark in NRL but then wants the club to play out of outdated grounds.

@diedpretty He always talks about Norths and North Sydney oval ..case in point ! His appointment was a backward step just another old fossil wishing things of yesterday were still here today .if the Tigers wish to play out of old antiquated grounds they deserve what is coming ...

Gotta laugh when people say that supporters wearing Balmain or Magpie jerseys at games aren’t really Wests Tigers supporters. They are at the game, they paid their money at the gate or through memberships.

I’m always happy to see the old jerseys at games.

To anyone offended that the public perception is that it’s still Parra’s home ground. Just imagine how you would react if Leichhardt or Ctown got redeveloped, and other clubs tried to hone in and claim it as their’s. Parra are my most hated team, but the stadium is in the heart of Parra, on the site of their old home ground, next door to their leagues club. And don’t get offended when the perception is that it’s Parra’s home ground? Lol

I would play one game at both Cambo and Lo and make a real big thing of it. Maybe a traditional rival Like Manly at Cambo and Souths at LO. Than play the rest at bankwest. Although I am more than happy to play the lot at bankwest
