BankWest Stadium 🏟

@2005magic We would have all our members getting seats so it would be a sea of black, white and orange.
We will do to them what they did to us in the crowd next year Easter Monday

Unless we’re in Perth 😐

@Chicken_Faced_Killa I had some good seats close to the 50m line but was surrounded by Parra supporters. They were a good bunch at least - showed some sympathy, but I'm sure they were that ecstatic with the result they couldn't be bothered bagging us out. Stadium was great - best ground I've watched footy at, but I'm not sure what the deal is with the Western side stand - I think it was all corporate, families, junior clubs etc.

I hardly think that's fair - that side of the stadium contains most of the new innovative features that the media is spruiking and is largely unavailable to the general public, or even club members from what I've heard (guy next to me was a Parra member of 15 years and never had the option of selecting a seat in that stand, even though his ANZ seats were on that side). The Western side at Bankwest is essentially corporate boxes and really minimal seating compared with the other stands.

@Juro yes we have decided not to attend any more games in Sydney except Bank west we have the package ... just upgraded to Foxtel 4 K and buying a new 4K tele that will do us .

As much as the result was poor the stadium was fantastic. I was in the Tiger fan section - where they had shoved us in a corner and the viewing was great. Can only imagine that the better seats are even better. The club has done the right thing moving games there. The walk to and from the station was easy as well. Can't wait until we have a home game there and have it packed with Tiger fans.

Query- home game WT vs Parra where its a WT nominated home game. 30,000 seats- who gets majority seating availability- WT / Parra clubs?

Correct... Become a sponsor or cop the sun in your eyes

That corporate stand would attract tier one companies to our club and turn us into heavy hitting Sydney team.

Lucky we have enough fans to spread over all the grounds we play at, because there is no way we would all comfortably fit into any of them other than ANZ if we all decided to show up.
So not such a big deal when fans right off one venue over another until we get to a point where our choices are limited!

I think you missed the point of my post. If we are talking about having a good sized stadium ala BW in one of our areas well Campbelltown would be the solution. LO will never get a huge redevelopment (I don't think fans would support it anyway,) BW is Parra's ground whether we want to admit it or not so that leaves ANZ or Campbelltown. Not saying it is the right approach just that if that is what we want (a big state of the art stadium in one of our areas,) well Campbelltown would make sense.

In any case as I said I don't believe it will come to fruition as the club seems happy to keep the three ground model for the interim.

@Cultured_Bogan - got your post CB. More directed at the that have fans have made a choice not to attend our games based on the ground. Definitely more of an issue for some of our fans than others.
We are lucky enough to have fans that will turn up at all the different grounds we play at for various reasons, especially if and when we show some good form. Whether it is CSS, LO or WSS there are enough fans to go around and even more when we are travelling well. Not sure that could work for many other clubs other than ours.
Not suggesting it is ideal would love our own stadium - but if we play well our fans will turn up.

Am I the only person that thinks our club likes all our home grounds. Doesn't hurt our membership....same person counted a couple of times. Numbers look good...let's be honest we probably don't have 15000 individual members. More like 10000 with half those having other memberships at other grounds. However if we go to just one ground we can't post the same numbers.

A breakdown of memberships would be interesting.
Ticketed v non ticketed and also venues.

Are you guys suggesting that if I’m a Campbelltown, Leichhardt and bankWests member, that counts as three memberships? Surely not?

@Spud_Murphy

Parra were so pumped that I think that would have beaten any team yesterday, no matter who they were playing.

The Stadium was Magnificent, a credit to all that were involved in the design of it a great place to watch a game.

@gallagher
I have to 4 game package at Bankwest, for me it's a 2 hour drive to Penrith 30 minute Train ride 10 minute walk to a brilliant Stadium.
LO 3.5 hour drive there 4.5 drive back home, sitting on grass hill, getting a sore bum.

Its like lucky dip i suppose... have to chance your self with a random game thru out the season, and hope that we win while u r there

Not sure Steve. I doubt the club would share that info.

I highly doubt it, that would mean that the 3 members of my family adding up to 12 memberships.

@bathursttiger Why weren't we just as "pumped" The occasion was just as important for us as the Eels. This match goes down as some sort of history, and a lot of that will be in the name of Mitch Moses :white_frowning_face:
