It’s called self preservation, avoid the situation is what I’m saying, take the chance of being abused out of the picture.

Which is fair enough too, but for example will you now not go into the city after the events of yesterday or would you prefer measure be put in place to make your tip into the city safer?

Well if they choose to go back to the place where the abuse is coming from then they can’t go whinging about what’s being said about them, they must enjoy the drama if they can’t help themselves but go back.

Oh yeah, run and hide and let the bullies win, great strategy. What about the other positive things that they believe they get from social media, just forgo those instead of addressing the cause of the issues?

Well I suppose that's what you have to weigh up, does the good outweigh the bad?
It's a decision only the individual can make.

I'm sure the good can be obtained by other means, as I've said, I get in just fine without it, never been on it, never felt the need to and probably never will.
Humans got on just fine before the internet.

Yeah but that can be said about literally anything, humans got on just fine before the car was invented, travel was obtained by other means. Lots of people are killed and injured in car accidents but we still decide to use a car.

Take my car away and my current way of living will become pretty difficult.
Take social media away and I think we'll be just fine.
I get on fine without social media.

You must have a pretty heavy addiction to it though by the sounds of how hard your trying to defend it.
Have you spoken to someone about this, or are you in denial?
How many hours a day are you at now?
How many times do you check your phone a day?
Addicted much, you must be a full blown junkie, get help man, it's not too late.

Put it down, turn it off, go for a walk in the bush, smell the roses.

Funny thing is I don't use facebook, twitter etc at all, I really do not like them. If I haven't spoken to you in 10 years there is usually a reason for that and I am not interested in hearing about your life lol

@Geo: Firstly, the post "be kind" by krissy was amazing and I couldn't agree more. 2nd, I refer to your amazingly quick reply to krissy where you said "yeah good post totally agree...Wouldn't hold my breath tho".
I feel it's amazing that you can so readily and "totally agree" that comments on social media towards Momorovski and others "can be cruel and can have serious repercussions", but you apparently 'DONT' think using Our Lord's name the wrong way to also be "cruel" and offensive to so many people on this forum. I just don't get it as trash talk is trash talk no matter what form or context it comes in or who it is directed at. So why dont you and your fellow adjudicators step up and do something positive about it?, such as stopping it immediately.

What I will say is he is not "Our Lord" he is Your Lord and that the word Jesus is now used as a fairly Vanilla curse now days, even by a lot of Christians that I know. How about you start a thread about Christianity and I will happily discuss the pros and cons of organised religion with you and you can attempt to convert me!

And I am very sorry to say there has been no change in the Administrators attitude since.
For the life of me, I cannot understand how 'so many' of our forum users can click the like button on the original post by krissy, and I was one that did click the like button by the way, but so few on here are prepared to stand up to be counted for 'their' Religious Beliefs. I gotta tell Yuh, it's a Very sad situation and world we live in.
So rest easy Cochise, as it was never a quest of mine to convert anyone on this Forum.
But hopefully I have opened a few peoples eyes and maybe even made a few people think?

I am happy to stand up for my religious beliefs! I believe we will be better off as a society without the corrupt and evil organisations that are organised religion. When a part of society has organisations that refuse to release admissions of child abuse then they have no place in todays society. These organisations have been a haven for pedophiles and I would be happy for them to be disbanded!
