Momo is a player who is trying his best in the NRL side,he did very well against the Dogs,he is playing on the wing,a position he isn't all that familiar with and is scoring tries.He put his hand up to kick goals when Marsters couldn't handle the pressure anymore and Mbye got injured.Does he deserve criticism for missing the last shot...absolutely not,he deserves praise for contributing the efforts and work done during the game..
I bet he felt just as bad because he missed that goal,you could see he was devastated at missing..Its easy being a gutless lowlife on social media trying to get a bite ..go out and fill Momos boots and then understand what its like in real life...

Yeah I felt so bad for him, before he was kicking i felt terrible, then when he kicked. I thought it probably wouldn't go. Its not his fault he isn't a genuine goal kicker. Its been a long time since we had one. I bet he is tough though and will be okay.

Maybe i'm a hypocrite, because I still watch Crocker missing and absolutely get off on it. It was the best miss I have ever seen in my life, best moment. It makes me happy, still. But that's OK, right? I mean, that's part of being a sports fan. Am I not meant to enjoy the opposition failing? I suppose the difference here, is I never wrote directly on social media having some kind of a nasty go at him. Or am I wrong?

I would certainly hope the comments about Momo didn't eventuate here.

By all means be critical, call for players to be dropped, rev them up, but personally attacking them is not on. Some of the garbage I saw regarding Latrell Mitchell was absolutely disgusting.

I don't consider it to be, to me social media is Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter etc.
Where people are pretty much documenting every hour of their lives, posting videos, photos having multiple platforms linked, building an online alter ego/profile.

Nobody knows me as Tiger outside of this forum. In fact nobody on this forum knows me at all in real life.

Dig a bit deeper than the first result you googled and have a read. I dont think its that cut and dry. Especially when you look at the differences between social media and social network.

My humble opinion, a message board, much like a town crier reading out the village notices in a town square 300 years ago is not what people think of when discussing Social Media which gets me back to my point in that its petty to jump on a guy cause he is happy thinking he was not using social media.
