Beaten before the whistle by everyone

geez by all reports we should not turn up and just roll over. Try telling 110 kg moors and galloway that it is a lost cause and they are soft. Mate the tigers will win and this will set up the season.
I dont believe in superstition but off to hawaii tomorrow and was there in 2005 when the tigers lost to panthers in round 26 and guess who won the gf. Remember gower saying our forwards were to small in big league
it is all about attitude and the tigers will be ready and dangerous

You seem to be relatively new around here but when we seem to come up against most teams the negativity stinks the air around here. I for one am pretty confident we'll do well against the Panthers. This team is a lot different from years gone by, our performances this year is proof we're a much better team this year.

Not only is the team different to past years but i think defensively (excluding the points against tally) we've improved significantly. Am i more optimistic than usual. Not really, i always give my team a chance. Injuries though are a huge worry not just for this week but moving forward.

We might be able to worry the panthers out of the game early. most teams with the ball the dogs had in the 30 mins would have mentally given up with nothing resulting from it. If the panthers havent scored against us in the first 30, like the dogs, the panthers will fold.

In saying that, if our forwards dont have the games of their lives, Marshall wont get an opportunity, and we have no one else there, assuming Farah doesnt play, to assist him.

If Corby plays, we need a replacement for him on the bench cause after 50 mins straight he will be cramping badly.

Farah will play. There is not a more competitive player in our team than Robbie Farah..

Everyone knows on this forum that there is no way Robbie will miss this game. He will want to give the team every chance of winning. If he thinks he is able to play - he has my backing.

lol

I get what you mean Pete, and I don't really disagree with you but I still had a giggle at the notion that if you ignore all the points that have been scored against us, our defence has been pretty good.

I mean, what's the point of good defence if it doesn't stop points being scored against you?

Barring the Roosters game I have been a massive fan of our defence this season

haha! Yeah which i why i made sure to bracket the note about the points against. Otherwise yeah it's kind of a silly sounding comment.

Oh I agree, our for and against looks bad because of the blow out during the Roosters game and the hammering we took in the dying moments of the match against the Bulldogs and generally speaking our defence has been excellent.

I was just having a laugh at Tigerpete's phrasing.

Yeah barring that game we've shown that we can hold teams out for long periods of matches. We've kept a few teams scoreless for 40 mins or more a few times already this season. Lately all the points we've conceded have been on the back of a barrage of possession and field position. Sure mistake might play their part in that but still you've got to be able to show you can defend your line and i think we have.

I dont care who's in our out. I'll be tipping us and not just because of loyalty. Penrith are far from the best team in the league. The way the talk is around here you'd think we were up against Melbourne or the Dragons and could only field 10 players.

We'll come ready to play.

Surely anyone who doubted the ticker/tackle of our boys can rest assured now that this team can tackle.

And hard.

I'm definetly not gonna rest assured of that fact mate…we've only scored three more points than the amount we've conceeded.

We'll get the job done here. I've invested on us to win by 13+. This will be our best game of the year. After all Benji plays for us and Penrith really are not that good.

Well you can kiss that money goodbye.

No. I back my team. I want to see them win.
