Beau Ryan Twitter

ok, lets sort this
the email account linked to the Twitter account is from the domain "beauryan.org", hence the person(s) who setup the twitter account is the same person who setup the website

A simple WHOIS lookup of the domain will show that the guy(s) who registered the domain are also the same guys that did the whole "Big-Bad-Sharks-Fan" and "Covell Brigade" thing a few years back (plus were involved in the FWO back when it was still a joke).
They also happen to be people I went through high school with.

coincidence?

hint: it's no beau, it never was

**@ Ink:** hahah yes I do. But more to the point, what ever happened to gr8_1?

Okay then. I just thought purchasing a domain name was a bit too much but if you insist I have no reason to not believe you.

thats fair enough mcdougall

you are right in a way, it does seem a little bit too much to purchase a domain these days, but the price of domains is really very cheap.
in fact most hosting providers provide free domains with any basic hosting package.

at $10 a year for a domain, it's easy to buy a domain and impersonate someone

for example, danielfitzhenry.com is free. I can get it for free with a basic hosting package that costs $80 a year.
it's sad

when we were setting this site up we had to think LONG and HARD about what domain to use because the club would obviously get a bit shirty if we included their name - it could have been seen as an attempt at impersonating the official club site. Honestly I was thinking of going for something like "theden.com" just to avoid using the words "weststigers".

none of this changes **the fact** that beau would whoop odonell in a fight

Only fact if and when it happens, as it stands its an opinion

hed get punched in the nose a few times and pull up stumps i think.

id back alot of smaller fellas over these backrowers, but i think brett white has earned the rep for best fighter in league or atleast biggest puncher

Cuz he threw a lucky haymaker? If he was throwing down with a straight puncher he woulda got his block knocked off. They were just holding each others shirts swinging right hooks one after the other. It was 50/50 whose was going to land.

John Elias turns peacemaker
By Josh Massoud and James Phelps From: The Daily Telegraph April 20, 2010 12:00AM

FORMER rugby league jailbird John Elias has turned peacemaker, defusing last week's explosive feud between Cowboys enforcer Luke O'Donnell and Tigers comic Beau Ryan.

O'Donnell was out for blood after hearing Ryan had called him a "cat" on social networking site Twitter and asked good friend Elias to investigate.

Elias - who served a four-year stretch for shooting an associate in the leg - first met O'Donnell during his early days at the Tigers and has maintained close contact since the aggressive second-rower moved to Townsville six years ago.

"Luke was very upset and wanted answers," Elias told us.

"To call someone a cat is not on. I know Beau very well and I was surprised he'd say something like that. I spoke with Beau and got to the bottom of it.

"He and Luke have since talked and it's all OK now. You could say I've gone from starting fires to putting them out."

Ryan explained the Twitter page was a bogus account created under his name - and the insult posted by a stranger seeking to incite controversy from the pair's scuffle two weeks ago that led to O'Donnell being suspended.

"I know John [Elias] pretty well," Ryan said.

"He called to see what had happened. I was blown away with what he said because I have never used Twitter. Someone has set up a site claiming to be me and has been posting stuff for a few months."

Ryan said he asked Tigers media man Wayne Cousins to have the Twitter page removed about two months ago after the phantom hacker posted: "Lote Tuqiri is a has-been and we should not have signed him."

"It has caused quite a bit of drama," Ryan said.

 the interweb is a powerful tool…

the bloke who bought the domain name stuffed it up anyway...It's Beau Ryan Fullback....

Kul.....is that available BTW....... 😱pen_mouth:

LOD = soft....

case in point

geo, it most certainly is

it was a silly thing to do in the first place, but trust the tele to pick up on it.
Like I said before, a simple check of the WHOIS information proved beyond doubt that it was bogus from day dot…
