Let him go i say , his last few games and most of last season he was running sideline to sideline .
He got better when moved to fullback running straight and hard but i guess old habits (or watching Fitzhenry ) die hard.

Just heard on Ch 9 Sunday arvo footy than Jarrod Saffy is going to the Melbourne Rebels next year.

Vuna is a big loss IMO. He was becoming one of Newcastle's marketing tools and they'll miss because of that.

Ryan is neither as good as some on here were proclaiming after his first two games at fullback nor as bad as the same people were saying in previous years. Like Fitzy, given the lack of explosiveness, Ryan needs to be very safe and error-free to have any value to the side. Unfortunately, both players are guilty of mistakes too often and at critical times.
I wouldnt be angry if Ryan was let go.
I hope the club is looking to fill the 1 position. We dont presently have a player in our top side who can make that position their own. I would like to see Jake get a crack sometime this year.
