Benji 2025 and Beyond

I'm with you KS. May, Twal, Pole, Sione & Seyfarth all played the link role at various times.

Operation 'transform Lachie Ilias into a lock and bring him back to the Tigers'!

Benji was a mentor of his when he first made grade at the Rabbits so maybe he can mentor him again.
FMD.

Let’s bring players to the club to play in a position that they’ve never played at.

Hey while we’re at it - i think KPP would go well on the wing. He’s tall so it makes sense.

1000 percent oh we are playing our props as locks and it's a shit idea.

A great idea is to sing a half and make him play lock.... I cannot understand the logic.

The best idea would to sign an actual f....ING lock .......

Case in point. Latu is a 7. Why the fark would you play him at lock.

Could he play lock. Yeah probs.

But what was he brought here to play and what’s his best spot? 7

News Flash, it’s not uncommon for players to change position and excel at their new position.
I won’t go into detail and rattle off the many current NRL players that have changed position somewhere along their journey, but as a snapshot Cameron Munster was a fullback, now captaining Queensland as a 5/8, Harry Grant a halfback now playing hooker, Isaiah Yeo a centre now playing 13, Bailey Hayward a halfback now playing 13, Kurt Mann a fullback now playing 13, Connelly Lemuelu a fullback now playing back row.

Everyone's comments really baffle me.

We need a lock, we need a centre, we need a halfback etc etc...

We need better coaches, better admin, better support staff. We need to invest more money into grassroots, into academies and into junior coaches.

WE are not a one town team like Cronulla, Manly, Newcastle etc nor do we have godfathers like Roosters, Dogs etc.b

We had someone wanting be our godfather and drove him out of the place.
He was too arrogant and too controlling, hmmm that reminds me of Nick.
We are only ever 4-5 smart signings away from being a substantially bettter team regardless who is coaching us.
The frustrating part is those 4-5 smart signings never seem to happen no matter who we have driving our recruitment & retention.

Yep I get that but look at the coaches that are coaching them.

They’re not rookie coaches.

Benji hasn’t earned the right to teach a player to play in another position.
