Benji 2025 and Beyond

Roosters will be looking to increase their F/A which will be all important at the back end in a tight competition for top 8 positions.
Could get as ugly as the Melbourne game if we don't maintain an even share of possession which is very difficult to do in the modern game when you are facing superior opposition.
 
I wonder if Benji is having a day off or watching this Storm v Sharks game ?
If he is watching, I hope he is seeing how much effect a big, tall, fast, athletic back rower can have when chasing and catching the high ball.
Eli Katoa does it with plenty of success for the Storm, there is no reason why a player such as Kai Pearce-Paul cannot do it just as well if coached and practiced on a regular basis.

Benji is clearly struggling with match day decisions. It's just guesswork, but I think he's being too logical and tactical as a coach, and maybe some of the bigger things are getting missed. I'm starting to seriously consider that Benji might be a brilliant GM of football, just not a head coach.

Today was never about who is playing 9 or 7 or whatever. Why shift things up the way we did missing so many key players? Keep it simple and make the game about effort, concentration and control.

I actually think he’s too much about control in games. They never chance their arm in the first half.
 
Not sure if anyone noticed but after Pole challenged the knock on early on the camera went to Benji and he said “we’re so f@&cking stupid”. Benji must be pulling his hair out.

3 weeks in a row we’ve done challenges early in the game. They need a rule that states no challenges in first half, even if you think you’re right.
 
Forcing assistants onto Benji will work as well as it worked for Madge. Benji also has form as we saw what happened when Fulton came in. They weren't even talking to each other.

If Benji can't do the job, he needs to go.
 
I used the NRL ladder predictor and had the tigers finishing on 22 points, winning against Titans x2, Cowboys and Manly.

There are also Smokies we could turn up for like vs Warriors or Penrith. But the same goes for the other teams battling .

The Titans matches are really important as far as battle for the spoon are concerned. Cannot afford to let them get points up on us.

Kini back for them in a couple of weeks.
When near full strength their attack and speed out wide will destroy us.

Looks very optimistic that they would win 4 more games… Im hoping for 3
