Could be in relation to this?

I don’t see how their pathways are any different to other Sydney clubs, including us.
One club? One goal? Certainly makes it much clearer than starting as a Balmain junior, playing for Wests Tigers in your late teens. then playing for Wests Magpies or Ryde Eastwood if your not good enough for first grade but if you are good enough your playing for Wests Tigers in the NRL.
unless you come from the other side where you swap out Balmain for Wests and you go wests, wests tigers, wests, wests or wests Tigers. Clear!
There’s a WT Flegg team. Honestly if you can’t cope with moving from the Balmain SG Ball team to the WT JF team you may not be cut out for NRL football. Rooster run two junior comps and seem to cope. Same with St George/Illawarra.
Nobody is playing State Cup for Ryde Eastwood in our pathway. As much as I’d rather have a WT reserves team, if it’s the basis for you leaving you may have larger problems.
Not state cup. But it is still part of our pathways program.
When we have a full strength first grade squad. 10-11 players drop back to reggies. The remaining of the reggies squad is filled with Train and trial and dev players.
If you are too old for Flegg and not on either of the three contracts listed above you will most likely play senior football for Ryde Eastwood or Mapgies in Ron Massey and the tier lower Sydney Shield

How many guys do you reckon make it to first grade after a stint in Ron Massey Cup?
