Benji Marshall involved in late-night incident

So why post updates to our facebook page then not reveal anything. I understand the legal issues but this is very frustrating.
 
Its going to be interesting to see how WT handle this. Not what we and the NRL wanted leading up to start of the NRL season. It could possibly relieve some selection headaches for Sheens from an attacking perspective.
 
This is exactly the sort of thing that could derail our season before it even starts… :bawling

If this is a big player why haven't the media got it yet and plastering everywhere? You know how they love this stuff.
 
Several sources have suggested that a high-profile Wests Tigers player was involved in a 'serious' incident last night in The Rocks. Whilst details are still vague, it is understood that the incident involved a physical altercation.

Posters on the forum have indicated that there would be an emergency board meeting held tonight.

Whilst still speculation, confirmation is being sought…

UPDATE: The Daily Telegraph has posted details on their website, saying that Benji Marshall was the player allegedly involved in an incident in the CBD this morning.

UPDATE: Wests Tigers have confirmed that Benji Marshall was involved in an incident. Meanwhile Ch 7 and the Sydney Morning Herald have reported that Benji retaliated to a group of 10 men who were racially abusing him.
 
Police want to speak with Benji Marshall following an alleged altercation in the Rocks in the early hours of this morning.

Marshall - the new face of NRL - is believed to have been at the scene of a physical altercation at 3am this morning.

Marshall, 26, spent last night hosting Children’s Cancer Institute Australia’s (CCIA) first annual Footy Rocks.

Police released a media statement confirming an incident involving a 26-year-old male.

Police attached to The Rocks Local Area Command are investigating an alleged assault outside a fast food restaurant in Sydney’s CBD overnight.

About 3.20am today (Saturday 5 March 2011), a verbal altercation allegedly occurred between a 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man in George Street, near the intersection with Bridge Street.

The 26-year-old and another male allegedly assaulted the 24-year-old before leaving the area.

The 24-year-old sustained a small facial laceration and reported the alleged incident to The Rocks Police Station.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident, and police are hoping to speak with a 26-year-old man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

My Uncle is a officer in the rocks area and has told me who was apparently involved, not exactly who i expected to be involved.
