Twitter is a great avenue for fans to interact with players. Not everyone lives in Sydney to make it to events, training or home games and say gday.

**Even if its just reading stupid banter between team mates, or a "I'm off to the movies!" type stuff, its something to embrace.** The NRL in general has always been on the back foot with this stuff IMO.

Sorry LaT, but if someone is going to wet themselves over the fact that an NRL player is "off to the movies" or "last nights chicken was undercooked so I'm off to slaughter the thunder-box", I have grave concerns for their mental state TBH. Fair enough it is good to get a bit of news on your favourite team or player but I just can't get my head around people feeling the need to document their every move on the internet….probably I am just old and decrepit :slight_smile:

Keeping Bunji,a once in a lifetime player,forever at the tigers,making him a one club player is brilliant news.

One thing I have always loved about the tigers issat we seem to be able to keep our champions…..since I started following us,we have had blokes like Sirro,Elias,Blocker,Junior,all stay as one clubmen,the only one I can think of that left was Brasher.

Great news if both Bunji and Robbie,our latest two champs also stay as lifers...happy days imo.

Its a small inane part of the medium. Sort of like saying all internet articles are crap because you read a few Buzz Rothfields pieces.

There is always an unfollow button, which I tend to use if a player does nothing more then post useless tidbits about crap.

More impressive is the speed at which information travels, I have news feeds that show when articles are released, rumours and early notices about various things, it all converges to a simple list that I browse through in a few minutes each day.
