Best Buy for next year

At his stage, Pat Richards.
Like others I will be very happy if all the team play to their potential consistently. 😛ray:

otherwise the best buy for next season will be:
**head ache tablets**, as we will need them to stop pain resulting in us banging our heads against a wall due to frustration.

Out of the buys on this list I can only see 1 possibly 2 starters in Pat Richards/Blake Austin..the rest will be warming NSW Cup

Tapau for mine. The most unlikely to play first grade would be lulia

I intrigued to whether we signed him to play centre or second row, I know he plays both.

Richards will be our best buy. I'm picking he will not be a first choice player, but then Lawrence will pick up a season-ending injury in the first three rounds and he will play the rest of the year and star.

I will be amazed if Leilua is not in the Centres come round 1\. He has pace and size and is a good defender. I believe Potter has signed players that are defensively competent and won't be intimidated.

I think Keith, Tapau and Richards are a must for next year.

Excited about Paterson, I hope he is ready and raring to go!

I don't want to get my hopes up with signings. We don't have the best of histories on this front…

Im hoping its austin. Good halves are hard to come by these days. Would love for austin to get some game time, come off the bench perhaps, take a few darts from dummy half and end up a halatau like bench impact.

We certainly seem to have added to our depth. Will be great to see who makes top 30.

I think Martin Tapau will be our best buy of the year he is a very good young prop. And Dene Halatau will be good to his in good form atm and will prob be our utility next year.

I haven't seen any of him since he went to England so I'm going off his Newcastle form. I didn't think he was very good back then. I would've thought Lawrence and Richards or Simona will be our centres in round 1

I would like to see Patterson move in to the front row - he is good defensively and has good ball skills - i don't think he has the explosiveness of Sirro or BMM which is essential for second rowers these days - watching some of his ESL games he reminds me of Payten so a move to the middle might not be out of the question.

To be fair, that was the Sheens era. Mayer/Potter will be complete 180.
