What’s been missed is Madge has dropped players that are rumoured to be on big overs.
We are a better team than last year in my view notwithstanding our ladder position.

Packer, ET, Reynolds, McQueen, Matulino we’re dropped and Mbye also moved from fullback.
Teams usually implode with such roster upheaval. The fact we are even competitive whilst effectively trying to punt half the squad is a big achievement.

Aloai, Twal, Mikalele, Liddle are getting more minutes. I hope he bloods Bradley, Talau and gives Liddle the 9 by the end of the year. At least we will have some players coming through and hopefully some being moved on.

The word "characters " was an interesting choice …maybe someone is already ready and loaded

I agree and that choice of words struck me as well. I couldn't entirely decide if he meant certain players and their egos/style/capability or if he meant characteristics of the team as a whole.

If it was the former then he is definitely gunning for someone(s).

Was what stood out for me too. The way I've interpreted it - certain players within the team. Obviously I could be very wrong with how I've interpreted his words.

Next 7 rounds will be interesting as will the offseason.

Well we all knew that would happen, nothing new there. It will just be a sit out to rest the body and make sure the ‘big one’ will happen at Leichhardt, rather than at some foreign ground. I’m sure that was already agreed upon weeks ago.

No I reckon it could be until we are officially out of finals contention ......and if this is the plan that Robbie plays his 300th at Leichhardt this club and go screw itself

If it really happens this way the NRL should kick us out of the comp ....we don't deserve an NRL licence
