I've done the trip a few times with my old man. We are from Sunshine Coast. Get the bus from central station and get of at Mary street Lillyfeild. Not sure of the bus number but someone from Sydney will know on here. Then it's a short walk to the field or a short walk around the corner to the orange grove. Beers are on early and gets a good little vibe going. Best spot is the hill in front of the scoreboard.

Leichardt does not shell well with rain for the general admission. Last thing you want is to be sitting in the mud and rain on the hill with the little guy. So if forecast is not good, get there early and be dry. Og, and the hot dogs and donuts. Not sure if it's just a nostalgic thing for me, but they are the best ever!!!!

Hope you both enjoy one of the best and last true suburban grounds left in this great city.

Yep 440 is the go.
As for best seats stand up in the corner between the Keith Barnes and Latchem Robinson stands. Get as close to the fence as you can.

Sitting on the concrete wall on the hill when we played the storm was the best view I've had and actually quite comfortable

best seats have to be on the hill for sure, in front of the scoreboard. Stood there the first time i saw a game at Leichhardt and now that is just where i have to stand.

I like the hill at the scoreboard end as well. Might be a little rowdy for your nephew (depending on age) but that is where the true spirit and atmosphere of the ground can be found IMO.

My seats in Bay 8 right behind the reserves bench are the best seats at any ground. Contact me in the sometime the week before the game as I might not be able to go to the game due to my wife having just had our 1st child. If I do not go I would be happy to loan you our season tickets for the game.

First off, congratulations.

Second, epic offer mate, really, thats an awesome gesture.

I have seats in front of the press box in the main grandstand

As a heads up to other members it was impossible to get into the Grandstand in previous years. I would guess right now would be the best time in many years. Call the club and negotiate your way in! You get to keep seats when you renew. There is space there every week.

With the development we have seen this year in our playing roster and having so much promise, getting in now is a no brainer. It's like buying the stock market when everyone is selling

Stryker? As in the Hip and Knee company?

Hows the atmosphere outside of GA? hope its nothing like the members stand at the cricket, just a bunch of old people with 0 enthusiasm…. (no offence to any bunches of old people on here  )

Thinking of getting silver next year if i can afford it
