Best sport movie of all time?

Following on the other movie threads there are so many good sport movies, I thought it deserves its own thread.

My top 15 are in no particular order:

Slap Shot ( I you haven't seen this ice hockey movie go out and rent/buy it)
Phar Lap (great aussie movie)
Any Given Sunday
The Longest Yard (original not the remake)
Field of Dreams
Rocky
Raging Bull
The Natural
Caddyshack
Cool Runnings
Rollerball (orginal)
Bull Durham
Major League
Jerry Maguire
Friday Night Lights (movie but the tv series is great as well).

Again I can think of many more. I wish we made rugby league movies as good as they make Gridiron movies.

Love Any Given Sunday, Rocky and the TV series of Friday Night Lights. And although The Final Winter obviously doesnt compare to the classics I did enjoy it.

Back in '92 when I was 7, the Mighty Ducks came out. That is my favourite sports movie, followed closely by Remember the Titans…

"Rudy" based on the true story of Daniel E. "Rudy" Ruttiger. The ending was a real tear jerker.

Hi everyone

The Perfect Catch (the US version of the UK "Fever Pitch") is fantastic. Story based on Boston Red Sox.

Highly recommended!!

Tigergran

Rocky
Rocky IV
The Longest Yard
Remember The Titans
Friday Night Lights
The Waterboy

Remember the Titans is one of my favourites

Great movie. This along with other gridiron movies such as: Gridiron Gang, Varsity Blues and The Program was close to being in my top 15.

The Program is a good film. Quite underrated although a little cliched.
