Have we seen the texts?

It really could be any two nuffies pouring more kero on the fire… But it also could be legit

The alleged text message exchange reads as follows:
- Jack has to send you a video of Mitchell Pearce humping Bella
Thinking about selling it to the daily mail to end his career
- I had to google Mitchell Pearce! Haha. Wait, humping the dog?
- yep so f–-ed and pissed on her lounge
he was whaled
- Sounds like an absolute pig
Is Cyn friends with him?
- No none of us were - they were with us at the oak and they were pretty normal - giving out liney lineys and then they jumped a cab with me back to hers and went f---ing ape shit! Jack just sat there filming it all

Apparently he sold the vid for 5K to a media agency who then on sold it for 60K according to Massoud,,,

I hate this line coming out: Thinking about selling it to the daily mail to end his career.

It was deliberate sabotage. They knew he was drunk but still had it in for him - most unfortunate. They could have suggested he very handsomely compensate the woman for all the hassles with even a trip overseas for her. IF kept in house he could have been pressured into rehab. I wonder how they feel now.

The biggest issue here is a modern society one in that a person , filmed without their consent, should own the video unless they give express permission for the shutterbug to use it, it's bordering on invasion of privacy, this post in no way supports Mitch Pearces actions

There is no right to privacy that protects a person’s image and current privacy laws deal with storage and management of personal information, the photographer does and always has held copyright ownership of any images he or she takes and does not need permission, groups like the Privacy Council may have you think otherwise but in reality you have not and never have had any right to claim invasion of privacy once you leave your own property and step into the public domain.

With social media so prevalent these days some should remember this when they get snapped doing something stupid then try to claim invasion of privacy.

Well you'd think public toilets, change rooms in workplaces and retail etc would have laws covering privacy… Surely

Sydney Roosters confirm Mitchell Pearce will be receiving treatment in an intensive rehabilitation facility for extended period. Pearce has tonight departed for the overseas facility with mother, Terri.

Yes he is on the board of the ARLC…

Isn't the big issue here the reference in the txt to handing out Linney Linneys which is an acronym for cocaine..what if it was a mixture of grog and cocaine..hard to defend that ..no wonder the roosters got him offshore so quick

Probably somewhere like The Cabin in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

If he's not at least suspended for the year, then it's clear The Roosters make their own rules.

Just in case it wasn't already.

The apology was pathetic. No feeling behind it. It sounded like an apology you give, when you are only sorry you got caught, acting like a drunken idiot again. An apology is not worth anything, unless you mean it. The fact that he had to keep looking down, to read what it said tells me that it didnt come from the heart. I could be wrong. I hope he learns from this and stays sober from now on.

Your a tough one Mama.

I can be Sheer64\. And I'm a great believer in "tough love". As far as I'm concerned, Mitchell's apology, didn't come across as meaningful and sincere as it should have been.
Anyway, his apology is only worth as much as his next action. Stop the drink Mitch and grow up, is my advice to him.

Coke stays in your system for between 2-4 days.
Good time to split

Yeah if those texts turn out to be legit that is extremely convenient timing. They could try a hair test when he gets back, they can give results over months not just days.

There are a few exceptions Ink, toilets and change rooms being two, things like filming up women’s skirts and activities considered indecent (that’s indecent activities by the photographer, not the subject) which would be under various laws dealing with illegal activities rather than privacy, there are also restrictions on some Government sites.

Between the alleged text screen shot of the video taker ,alleged NRL player outing this person completed by another alleged nrl player threatening trouble … it's certainly a story that keeps on giving. :roll
