BIG signing coming soon

My concerns with Barba are age he will be 29 soon and outside footy.

However he is a real talent -has played in finals and premiership winning teams and been a key part. He scores tries, sets them up, he is damaging and an x-factor player.

Also Aborigional fullbacks seem to be able to play well into thier 30s - Peachey, Bowen, etc

I think Lolohea could be a really good fullback but then again I'm not at training and im not coach so mine is a guess - Cleary's isnt and Lolo can play plenty of other positions too

Also could be someone else entirely or just made up - who knows

I’m thinking James Segeyaro. Would provide Sharks with cap relief considering the amount of big names they picked up.

We are lacking the spark from DH.

Who knows…why aren’t the media all over it yet though

Would love Segy but not sure he is a "game changer" and it seems it's a fullback.

He was rubbish last year…

Gutherson is also a half who was a fullback…I'd prefer him to Barba, less of a peanut.

Oh Please be Gutho

I'll only believe it until it's true. Better be Gutho or Izzy or the ever so entertaining..

..Corey Paterson

Barba is a proven fullback, a match winner, and premiership winner. Lolohea has a load of potential although is unproven. As much as i want lolohea to play fullback and meet his potential, it would be madness to say we don't need barba. One of the problems we have had in the past is choosing players on potential and look where that has gotten us.

Well SG states it’s a long term positive for the Tigers, so I’d assume it’s not Barba as he’s like 29 turning 30 if we sign him for 2019 like SG stated.

Rule out Munster and Morgan.

I can’t see it being Nathan Cleary let’s be real Gus isn’t gonna release him for 2019 and Cleary would be silly to jump at a contract already and IC knows that too his performances coming up will only increase his value.

Can’t see it being Carney once again not really a good long term positive, I still rate him as a player and wouldn’t be disappointed if he came cause he wouldn’t be on big $.

Maybe a Blake Austin back to the Tigers, heard reports of him possibly leaving…. Gutho is solid but I’ve got sources at Parramatta that says he wants to stay.

Surely not Izzy, very unlikely too be him or Quade Cooper.

For all we know it could be a forward......

If I had to put money on it I’d probably chuck it on Barba, wouldn’t be too upset if we were paying 450k so basically a straight swap for Suli in terms of money, which still puts us a in position to sign Nathan Cleary.

If we have signed Barba that basically confirms RTS wasn’t interested in us, and tbh Barba isn’t the worst option would be interesting as he certainly does have that X-factor I think we lack in order to be a finals bound team.

I assume it's Barba and I'm not that keen. I'd be happy with Morgan but SG has said it isn't Morgan.

SG always been a massive fan of your insight, good job mate!

For the fans and so we can rest easy at night.

Can you rule out at least one of either.

Nathan Cleary
Izzy
Ben Barba

I think 27 to 30s still a long term positive, for some reason I don't think it will be someone super young but a high profile player who will bring interest into the club, but for some reason i don't want it to be barba. but what your saying makes a lotta sense
