Billy Kitt

Was told by an ex player on the weekend that depending on circumstances, first grade this season is not impossible for Kitt.

Was the ex player drunk at the time?

Saw a lot of Kitt in Harold Matts and he showed a lot of potential with a slick passing game. Defensively though he was a liability. At least a couple years away from been close to first grade imo. Has he even turned 18 yet?

I think everyone is getting a bit carried away here, Billy is a good organiser but that is about the only box that he has ticked so far. Needs to show more in attack and improve his defence before he plays 20's let alone NRL.

I believe Billy cracked a few ribs against Souths in Rd 1 of the SG Ball comp and will be out for a few weeks.

As much as I love his passing game, a person of his stature isnt going to last long drawing and passing in the fashion this injury occurred.

As people have previously stated, he is a great little organsier. I hope he can learn control his emotions when things dont go his way though.

Good luck to him!

Bumped into Billy on the weekend told me he did his ribs very early in the game, has coped a few injuries in his short carer was knocked out pretty bad in a school boy game a few years ago hope he gets past all this.

Um..1st grade No not in the near future, but training with 1st grade next year in the off season Yes can see that happening.

Sounds like the young fella could do with a good weights and strength program if he's getting manhandled now.

He's got a decent frame for a 18yo halfback. He doesn't look the sort to play first grade months out of school like others, but there is no issue with his size either.

Not sure if you blokes get out to any Balmain Junior Reps but ahead of Billy on my list are Curtis Sironen, Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses. Billy is a good organiser, not a bad kicker but needs to work on his attack and defence before i could place him ahead of these 3\. Brooks has had a couple of bad injuries but if his comeback last year is any indication it won't take him long to re esablish himself as the best halfback in WT juniors.

I haven't got a look at Luke Brooks yet, but ahve heard he is awesome. I rate Moses highly as well. I think eveyone knows about Curtis Sironen.

Yes. His defence is suspect and he gets injured a lot. Sound familiar?

Update: Playing for Newcastle knights NYC

Poor bloke was always going to find it hard getting a gig ahead of Brooks and Moses. Good luck to him.
