NRL Roosters re-sign Leilua

The Sydney Roosters fought off rival NRL clubs to re-sign utility back Joseph Leilua to a new deal tying him to the club until the end of 2014.
Leilua, who will make his representative debut for City in Sunday afternoon's clash with Country in Mudgee, had been heavily linked to Sydney rivals Wests Tigers before choosing to stick with the Roosters.
Roosters coach Brian Smith was excited to have retained the versatile 20-year-old, who has played both wing and centre since debuting for the club in 2010.
"BJ is an exciting young talent and we are very pleased to have been able to agree to terms to extend his time at the club," Smith said.
