BLACK KIT - HOTTEST PART OF THE COUNTRY

Is it just me, Or are we the only professional sporting franchise in the Country that continuously wears a fully black kit in the hottest weather.

Usually, It's in the first few rounds during the day when we're at Campbelltown or Penrith when it's 30+. Today it's in Rockhampton...

I'm no scientist, But surely - Common sense says when it's the hottest part of the year, Or you're playing early afternoon in the tropics - DON'T WEAR BLACK!!

More than 10 years I've been asking and asking why we still do it...
No one can answer.

Penrith have a black jersey and their home games are in a hot area....

Also the jerseys are a material that is pretty cooling and breathable

Least of our worries

Fair play - But do they continually roll it out for Day games in the hottest part of the season - I'd be interested to know.

I'm almost certain there are studies done that say black is a much hotter colour to wear...

Yeah so they say....

I love the black jerseys.
Could reserve them for night games or the colder months.
Run the orange on day games.

Like I said tho, the jerseys are the least of our worries.

Yeah I agree, some people are dismissing this post but yeah it is just another sign that management is asleep at the wheel.. it may not be seen like much but it’s a one percenter that yet again we get wrong.. no forethought or attention to detail is ever applied … no professionalism is displayed as per usual .. it seems that we are ran like a poorly managed qld cup club and that really translates to our place on the table and our results in the field .. winning starts on Monday and all and we seem to just turn up on Sunday and hope for the best with Madge saying we trained well and he’s expecting a big effort from the boys ….. PS it never happens!

Not only that a study was done in the US about how teams wearing darker colours tend to lose penalty counts and don't get the 50/50 calls .......

They should have played in clown suits

. . . . . . and those jesters hats with the bells on them so that every time we ran the ball we would get 6 again.

Wouldn't expect conversions to be easy with the big shoes

Wouldn't expect us to score all that many tries for that to be an issue.
