first reaction, that's one way to screw up a good week.

i'll try and be positive and say he is doing his job of talking up a player so clubs are willing to pony up at least 75% of his contract, instead of a fire sale.

I knew Potter was not even close to being an NRL coach but this just confirms it.

Seriously Potter we are LAST and you and Blair are the two biggest reasons for that. Not injuries and not young players.
Potter and Blair lead the way in the biggest disappointments of 2013.

How do you justify saying Potter is one of the biggest reasons we are last? He hasn't been perfect by any stretch but to blame our failures on him is just stupid for obvious reasons.

Replacing Robbie
Playing Benji off the bench
Putting Spence in NRL team
Not playing Groat
His stupid mind games from the 70's.
Concentrating on Defence..Now worst in NRL
Destroying our attack..no attacking plays.
And Now wanting the worst player at the club to stay.

There is a few off the top of my head.

Does it strike you that the players want to win for Potter…NO..even they can see Blair is not putting in yet Potter can see something in Blair no one else can.

I hope he keeps improving as he did against NTH QLD, we just cant let players go & keep paying them its madness, we have to keep him.

**Replacing Robbie**- he didn't make the same mistake again… he was thinking ahead... robbie went on to play all 80 minutes of the season so far. plus 80 minutes of origin. for a forward- that's a lot.
**Playing Benji off the bench**- i see the media has got to you. compare benji's performances before the benching and after.. one of the best decisions by a coach this season
**Putting Spence in NRL team
Not playing Groat** - groat was injured. he gave spence a few games in the nrl. didnt think he was up to it and didnt play him again. let's see what happens this week.
**His stupid mind games from the 70's.**----?????????
**Concentrating on Defence..Now worst in NRL**- he is fixing the attitude.. we are leading in missed tackles but our attitude in defense is improving heaps. our outside backs have let us down not the forwards
**Destroying our attack..no attacking plays.** injuries havent let us form combinations.. you cant have attacking formations with bloody 7 halves combo in half a season
**And Now wanting the worst player at the club to stay.**- debatable. with the rubbish the WT club has said over the years, i wouldnt believe a word any of the officials, coaches or even players say in the media
There is a few off the top of my head.

Does it strike you that the players want to win for Potter...NO..even they can see Blair is not putting in yet Potter can see something in Blair no one else can.

there you go. have some patience will ya?

Wake up to yourself clown, Potter was never given a chance to have input on his roster.

Benji didn't deserve to be dropped is that what your saying?

As far as Groat goes, just LOL. You seriously are clutching if you're using a guy whose greatest achievement in the NRL will be being a fringe first grader as an excuse to lay into the coach. He's garbage, that is no reason.

Milky putting down Benji and Irvine putting down Potter is getting so damn boring. You can predict what they will say in any thread concerning either of them.

Irvine brings it on himself, and our attack has sucked for 2 years now,but blame Potter. :crazy

I dont know how you all took it so seriously…. Marshall and Blair the "fabric" yet omitting Farah?

I read it as a bit of a pump up for Benji and Adam, and at worst inflating Blairs price if Parra were to make an offer on him.

No ones taking it serious
Do you think anyone agrees with what Potsy said?
Do you think other clubs will fall for Potters salesmanship?
LOL

Blair hasn't been the worst over the last four of five weeks he has been moved to prop. His impact is greater and playing up front means he is off the field for half the game, much to the delight of most of this forum I would imagine. He needs to play tigher on the field and putting him at prop is a good move. He played a lot there in Melbourne too.

wow, irvine. did potter run over your dog or what?

I hope we make the 8 just to prove you wrong. Potter's the only thing the Tiger's management has going for them besides Grant Mayer and Todd Payten.

Or it could be the bean counters have worked out that it may be better to hang onto him rather than top up his contract if he leaves

100% cprrect.

Its a balancing act…. will we lose 2 upcoming kids to keep Blair? If someone would pay $300k of Blairs contract even though we would still be out of pocket we could split that 300 and possibly keep 2 of the kids. I only hope they have plan in place to retain Nofo, Koro, Sue, Ava, Simmona, Moses, Brooks, Groat, Gavet even Farlow (at least those they have intentions to keep) which is a long list.

We have too many superfluous players on long or expensive contracts at present. Lets hope the club has its crap together and is working dilligently on trying to reign all of these issues in.

Problem with Blair at prop he seldom bends the line. He needs to pack on another 5-10kg to help. Defensively he is lazy at times. But we need him at the moment and at prop. He just needs to get his head right and work on his defensive technique instead of twisting players legs! His effort to tackle Mascoe was there just the technique caused him to drop off.

Get rid of Rolls Royce Simmons PLEASE!

My main fear with Blair is that he starts playing reasonably well as a front rower, we keep him….and then Galloway comes back so Potter shifts Blair to the backrow again where he isnt suited. Even as a lock playing tight i feel he loses his way a little. He has to stay upfront.

I really don't get it when people say Blair isn't suited to the back row or even lock,it sounds like people are semi defending him,and I'm not having a go at you at all by the way.
Blair is an albeit x international forward with premiership credentials he should have the talent to slot into any position in the forward pack bar hooker and do it well.
But he doesn't someone who was loosely regarded as one of the best forwards in the world only a year or so ago isn't producing he just doesn't want to play or us I can't offer any other reason as to why he is so rubbish.
Positional reasoning shouldn't justify why he can't produce at all he isn't a rookie.
