Blair/worth $500k

Time will tell, I'll reserve judgememnt until I see him actually perform well consistently in our jumper.
I havent seen too many Melb forwards kick on after leaving that club.

From some of the media I've read reports Ink Hoffman seems to have found a new lease of life at Wigan He was floundering at Melbourne in the end .

Yeh apparently. But all Aussies & Kiwis kill it over there….the Exiles just recently beat the Englanders best

Remember when Blair grabbed Benji by the scruff of the neck and threatened to belt him if he didn't pull his head in while on NZ duty? This is exactly what Benji and most players at this club needs. I'm pretty sure it got the best out of Benji too.

Blair will be a leader on and off the park. He would also be the prime example of what Humphreys is alluding to be when he talks about a professional player.

On the park, Blair is widely recognised as one of the best wrestlers in the comp, and this is aspect of the game that we ALWAYS struggle with. I believe we are the worst in the comp by far when it comes to the wrestle.

Off the park he is NZ's vice captain, has played in three grand finals, and has valuable experience that most players in our side do not. To be honest I don't care what he is paid when we can still afford to have the likes of Benji, Robbie, Lawrence, Ellis, Galloway etc. in the same side with him.

Hybrid I agree with Blair being one of the best wrestlers in the comp , but if the Tigers don't get a good wrestling \Ju jitsu coach he can only make X amount of tackles every week We need everyone to get on board

Completely agree, but Blair will be able to set an example and IMO we have not lost anyone of significance in order to obtain his services.
