Blair

In the first half after getting tackled and pushed back 15 metres by the titans D he went missing. He made some decent runs but didnt bend the line or trouble the defense in the secind half. He did put pressure on the kickers at times tho.

i keep thinking back to my dads comment about when they signed him "lazy and just hangs out in the backline." my dad is never wrong and i have hoped him to be so with blair, but so far, he just hasnt come to the party. its time he stepped up.

I'm not sure he will. I think that we may have to consider the reality of the situation and that is whoever signed him really stuffed up. I think if he doesn't improve soon you have to consider getting rid of him.

Thought he had a solid game myself not brilliant but solid. His defence was great really slows down the play the ball. As for in attack he is playing under instructions and therefore doing what is asked of him-sheens is developing him into a strike back rower as he was clearly set for attacking runs as opposed to the "dirty work" and that's ok -plus every time he does run the ball he attracts 4 defenders and this means gaps outside and gaps on the next tackle. Also he does lots of little things like that pressure play on rankin.

you know a dud player when this is the thread to prop up hope.

It wasn't to prop up hope Bon

It was to point out a fact that Blair had done something positive in contributing to a win

Please don't try and read my mind , I don't need another psych .

Its alright I tell him I'm a Tigers supporter and he gives me 20% discount , he understands

The most dissapointing thing for me yet again in all of this was seeing a WT player pushed back and none of his team mates even looked to help out. What is that all about?

he took 3 steps and the ball was on the ground and no where near him.

but blair always puts in for a chance to put a cheap shot on a half.

I was a fan of his signing, but so far he's been a dud.

Same here…..He's a dud no doubt about it.

Hoping he gets dropped when Ellis and Heino return

that won't ever happen.
has he made a tackle bust ever in his life.

but geez, how much do we lack without ellis barging at pace at the line.
so many times during that game there were nice holes that were begging for some runners instead of side to side.

there are just no players in motion.

Yes Blair made 1 tackle break on his 2nd try of the year.

Now I am anxiously waiting for his 2nd tackle break this year.

Blair is playing like a solid first grader. At present he wouldnt be worth more than $200k a season. Enough excuses, he needs to step up his work rate.
