By chance, Ayshford gets moved to 6 as a result of an injury.

He played well.

The balance of the team looked better with him at 6 and Benji taking control at 7.

It was the Tigers most complete performance this year.

Now you want to criticise the selection of the halves pairing we have desperately been trying to resolve since Lui left us.

Grow up.

Dude, he was one of the main reasons we won and it was a good decision

Serious? Thought I saw him drop the ball on the try line with 3 mins to go…..and no.....no one hit the ball out of his hands.

Why do I remember? I out $20 on the TAB for him to score the last try and I was livid (payout was something like $300) ....then Warriors scored the last try which made me feel a little better

To me Ayshford is not a 5/8 his more a ball playing lock or centre, hasn't got the kicking game a 5/8 usually does and isn't much of a creator. But will be watching with intrest

He needs to build up those chicken legs. I mean christ, he must spend upwards of 15 hours a week in the gym, use the leg-press once in a while!

Ayshford might not be a brilliant kicker but we still have Robbie and Benji and Moltz and even Fulton who can put in a decent punt. And we only need one or two players who can slot through a conversion or a field goal.

But of course the fact that you just said that means that Ayshford will have a storming season at 5/8 and Sirro will be let go by next season. Because every prediction anyone ever makes on here turns out to be opposite to what happens.

"John Grant will be a superstar", "Matt Bell is a nobody", "So glad we kept moltzen, in your face dragons!", "Heighno's moving to penrith", "Rob Lui is a gentle guy" etc

I will top that one, had Moltzen as last try scorer and was counting money after he scored :crazy

if you watch…...... you will see that Benji is actually play makeing both sides of the field , effectively playing both half and 5/8 .....

whether it be Lawrence or Ayshford who is wearing the No6 ... they have just played like a back rower or centre

personally i think it has been i brilliant move by sheen's, we get the double the benji

Siro will be wearing the 6 this week and I hope he has a good crack! He won't feel as much pressure if benji is playing inside because once he gets the ball it's his choice really.

I don't see him getting picked this week. Sheens might have just named him as a word of encouragement or something like that. BMM, Bell and Humble will definitely play, his only chance is to replace Reddy, and to be honest I'd rather have Reddy for this game. NQ will be our toughest match since Manly. Probably not a good week to be making your FG debut. We're gonna get smacked upside down by the Cowboys, the most we can do is mitigate the damage. Although the Tigers are always full of surprises, that's why we love them! And also hate them.

Yeah true. It's quite easy to get excited about young players sometimes, especially when the NYC team is doing so well. I would rather see humble at 6 than ayshford with reddy to the bench, if that's the case.

I've watched the game 3 times and can say unequivocally that Ayshford's apparent move to 5/8 had nothing to do with the win. He barely touched the ball and we didn't win because of any opportunities he created.

I hope he doesnt play 5/8 this week just on the back of the fact the team scored 4 tries in the 2nd half last week which he had no part in.

If Aysh plays in 5/8 i wish him well, but I cant see it being the answer we need.

I actually think some of moltzen's touches we very good playing as a wide 5/8.

Anyone see Sironen's game in the u/20's last week - awesome!

He's here and he's here for the long term!

I have never seen him play since I'm os and only get firsts grade matches, but I'm hanging to see him in action.
