Blake ayshford

I think a few of you are harsh calling him a hog. Perhaps if Ryan got into a better position he would pass it to him. It's not a bad thing anyway as he does possess strength. Don't see anyone calling TNT a hog

TNT can not be called a hog coz if he was to off load, he'll hit a man in pink with a flag on in his hand. his job is to finish plays and score tries n thats exactly what he is doing.
as for ayshford, his defence is still sus. he is strong and does make the important tackle here n there however he does not read the play properly at times.
i think he does not pass sometimes because he is not used to it. he is a second rower and is not used to setting up his winger.
if he is going to stay in the centers then he should be developed there in the off season. if sheens eventually wants him as a second rower, then i think it would be better to bring him on off the bench there to begin with and put a permanent center who has the skill to set up his winger slightly better.
i think its time a lot of ppl on here lay off ryan.

he is a HOG, for the fact there has been in the last 3 games where he could have passed it and we could have scored and he took it on himself..

still the guy is still pretty impressive..

The guy is okay but some people here calling him a possible rep centre or future superstar are kidding.

He is a solid player in my opinion. His defence is ok, definetly not great, has missed a fair few tackles in first grade, but i will give him time to develop in that regard like Chris Lawrence has over the last year.

In attack hes ok, hes hardly blockbusting. I never legitimately think he will break the line. Even if he does have 5 tries.

I honestly dont see him as a backrower. Even if he does bulk up a bit. I dont think he has the mongrel or the leg drive or the physique to make good metres. For the first time in years we are playing without 3 small guys in the forward pack and it looks to be working, dont know why wed go back to it.

Won't legitimatley break the line?

How many illegitimate line breaks does NRL stats have him listed as having?

I can't believe the negativity. The kid is going to be a superstar. He has'nt had a bad game & yesterday he scored another brace
Hog it some more i say

Was thinking the same way.

Blake has been very good and improving all the time.
Ryan has always been very ordinary in timing his runs weather it be coming inside or staying outside, or staying deep.
Blake will continue to grow as a player, i do believe he just needs to look first and sieze his options before holding onto the ball as I think Ryan would scored 2 more tries on the weekend if Blake had passed the ball.
Loving his defence and I hope he is not turned into a back rower in the future.
No need for change atm.
