He's ordinary, but c'mon dude, I can think of three just off the top of my head, and always had the knack of beating the first player.

At his best he was a potential origin bolter, it's pretty much when he became a dad the wheels completely fell off.

Blake Ayshford at Wests Tigers - 104 games, 47 line breaks and 218 tackle busts

I dont nessecrily think we must sign him but our NSW cup centres yesterday had never played a single game of NRL while Ayshofrd has played 167 FG games including playing full seasons in NRL for the last 2 years so I would be more then happy for him as a replacement for Milne or Suli

Yep I was just about to say, Blake Ayshford was solid during his years with us. In the press conference after the storms game Ivan and Benji were talking about the match where Benji's tigers came back from a 22-4 deficit against Ivan's Warriors in 2011\. Ayshford was tearing them apart.

Yeah that's my recollection of it. He was killing it for a while there but fatherhood did his form no favours at all.
 
well we started the year with great dept in centers and wings, and i know we had to cut the two jerks but now we look light on, really cant see us picking any one up as cover. only good point is are salary bucks must be huge now. wonder if ivan could raid the ESL and pick up a player.
 
I think we all agree that we need a quality fullback and a centre BUT we would have to be desperate to go down this road.
I’m sure that with cap space we now have when the right player becomes available and he is keen to join us …... we will make that signing.
 
Wests Tigers going good so lets bash the tripe out of ex-Wests Tigers players..

Ayshford was great in 10/11 for us..often beat the first tackle..scored some memorable TRIES….not what we are looking for now tho..

Exactly my memory of it too. Never seemed to be able to be a dad and a good footy player.

Well said. People have such short memories. Not an elite player but a lot better than a lot of wingers we've had. Better than Beau Ryan in my opinion.
 
Blake was pretty good, but he never ever found form again.

Leave it to Cleary. If Cleary sees him play and says "hey I can get this guy to change X and Y then he will kill it at first grade"… Sign him.

Kevie and Marsters are killing it at Centers. We can wait till someone a lot better comes on the market.

Yeah, well check out the highlights below. There was a time he was quite solid for us. It was a fairly short window, granted. I agree he has been rubbish for quite a long time now though.
 
Hasn't been good since he left us….

If he's desperate he'd be good for our cup team.
 
OMG Ayshford was always just a mediocre centre at best, correct me if I'm wrong didn't he partner Lawrence when at da tigers as Chris was a gun back then which wouldn't of helped Blake look good at all.I think just like Chris did is to play second row as his to slow & to big now but personally I wouldn't waste a cent on him at all
 
No way - would much rather a young hungry guy who has something to prove. I haven't seen a lot of ISP or under 20's but there must be a good young centre going around that would be a better option than Ayshford.
