Thought Blake was back to his near best again tonight . Especially in attack made a few big breaks , the one from dummy half was sheer brilliance . One of our best . Great stuff Blake

well FFS, if they are picking greenhorns like Hopolate, Ayshford should be gawd damned captain of the Blues.

Many on the forum will continue to bag him - I will continue to sing his praises. He is consistent in attack and defence. Just needs to set up his winger more.

Excellent game tonight, and NSW could do worse by not picking him to be honest. He's a hard player to really line up and smash. Kaufusi hit him hard in the first half which jolted him back a metre, but he made another couple of metres after the initial contact.

The only thing holding him back is genuine speed. If he had pace similar to Lawrence or Tuqiri, look out.

He's one of those players who shouldn't be hard to contain… but for some reason is and just makes meters from nothing!

Has nice footwork close to the line and would shine with a capable winger outside him... just as he and Utai were finding some rythmn... injury. Now it looks like he has the imposter outside him for another 5 weeks... :unamused:

He played great tonight, but one good game doesn`t make a season. He`s done basically nothing for 11 rounds, he was due for a good game. If he can consistently play like he did tonight he`ll become a very valuable player for us, but doesn`t produce that level of football near often enough at the moment.
