Why have you spelt his name like that?

When he puts in a better effort I will spell his name correctly

It was meant to be light hearted e.f.g.h … Plus i forgot the correct spelling. He should change his name to smith!

What a load of rubbish. Blake is improving each week. Simona proved he wasnt first grade quality last year.

No Stryker if ayshford is "a proven first grade quality" he shouldnt be improving every week. He should come into the season ready to go. I understand shaking the cobwebs off but mate the game i watched today he was f*@#king pathetic. hes poor excuses at arm grabbing tackles are getting to me. the thing that annoys me the most is when he first came into grade he had nothing on him but seemed to tackle break very easily. the heavier hes gone the more ineffective he has become.

Why simona? i think he more than proved himself with his chances last yr and i have watched him play this yr and he looks to have a go and plays aggressive. id also give Chisholm a crack at number 1.

Dont think im sticking the knife into ayshford here coz i am a huuuge fan of his. i was of the belief he could crack origin this yr, but mate hes played 50-100 1st grade matches. He needs to step up his game massively

Y would simona be better than ayshford? He's not a better player than ayshford, no point dropping someone just to bring up a mediocre player, simona is not a dynamic centre, ATM neither is aysh but he certainly has more potential to be! Plus his defense nearly always good!

3\. Reddy
4\. Lawrence

Far better centre combination.

Ayshford can be the bench utility. He'd be better at it than Reddy anyway because he can legit play in the backrow.

Its no excuse, but I do believe he has a newborn son - could be breaking up his sleep at home. I know his pain if that is the case…

He looked slow chasing soward.... as soward aint all that quick. Humble cut him down nicely though.

I remember him outsprinting Carney in the 2010 semi to put us up 15-2, and even last year strong arming out of a Jarred Hayne Arm grab and out sprinting the eels backline for a try...

he's a good kid. needs sheens to light a rocket under him again.

Nothing wrong with the outside backs at the moment. The forwards and halves aren't doing their jobs, so how can our centres and wingers look good outside them?

I sort of agree but I think Ayshford especially received enough ball tonight to show something but he really sucked. Lawrence again didn't receive any ball. Perhaps they should swap sides.

The problem with supply is that Blake played most of last year with Liam. The past 4 games {2 trials} he has had Ellis who has swapped sides probably because Adam plays L.H.S. so both centres have had to adjust to new 2nd rowers.
This seems to have stifled both attack & defensive patterns.

Good point Bob…

They'll work it out. Calling for heads this early on is a nonsense pure and simple.
