Blake Ferguson

I'd be going with Moses. he must play NSW Cup in 2014 though.

Sironen can move to second row, Anasta will be gone, Moltzen will be gone at a guess.

Will have some coin to throw at whoever's on the market.

I'm thinking Moses will get some game time in the NRL side late in the season

Id be surprised if he played more than a game or 2, he needs to put on a bit of size and he missed a lot of footy this year.

Probably once we are out of Top 8 contention I imagine he will get a couple of games

We need to know one way or the other whether he can crack it

We can't go without a 6 for too long

Great player but total fruit loop. Another Mundine puppet. Potentially a game breaker but potentialy a team wrecker? :crazy

**Personally, I loathe Mundine but give me him as a 5/8 any day. He was brilliant.**

But calling Ferguson a Mundine puppet as though it is a deal breaker? By that reckoning so is SBW then!
Do they go around "wrecking teams"?
**From what I remember Mundine was instrumental in getting to three grand finals and won one.**
SBW wins everywhere he goes. His brilliance speaks for itself.
Ferguson is basically the only reason NSW won game 1 this year and is on the verge of being something special.

But I digress.

Get Ferguson!!!

?? Not sure where you are coming from. Mundine isn't going to come back to the NRL 😕

Choc may have played a part in getting to 3 Grand Finals, he won 1 with the Broncos in a Mickey Mouse competition in '97 and almost certainly single-handedly cost the Dragons a premiership with his greedy play in '99\. He wasn't as good a player as he likes to boast that he was in all reality.

As for SBW, he may be a Khoder Nasser puppet but at least he has the brains and balls to speak for himself in interviews, unlike Ferguson who is just infant-like in the brain department.

Lol to say we don't have a standout in the backs is ridiculous. Teddy, Koro, Nofo and Simona have shown that against any opposition they can create something out of nothing. Look at our highlights against any of the top 4 sides this year and one of those guys is nearly always involved. They created pretty much all of our line breaks this season.

As someone said, we need defensive players. With Brooks coming in our attack is assured. Spend the dollars on a forward or forwards w mongrel.

Why are we even considering him when we have one of the best backlines in the competition?

1\. James Tedesco
2\. Marika Koroibete
3\. David Nofoaluama
4\. Chris Lawrence
5\. Pat Richards

Our 1-5 for round 1, who ever under performs gets dropped for Simona when back from injury. We also have Taqele, Rowe & Lulia who want a spot.

i reckon lulia will be worse than we think.

prepared to be wrong, but i doubt he'll be starting in round 20+ unless we have severe injuries again.

Well then i would be prepared to give Delouise Hoeter a go or even as stupid as it sounds Martin Tapau at center might even work. He is faster than Dane Gagai and is bloody strong, why not?

because he's not a centre. i prefer not to play people COMPLETELY out of position. I mean, prop to back row is not the end of the world. But Prop to CENTRE??

Sounds bloody stupid I know, but why not try it? Taqele is bigger than him & so is Inglis….

because he has 0 experience there and he's already expereinced as a prop.

I wouldnt care if we get him or we dont, but seriously Milky, Blake is twice a better player than any of the 2-5!

Die hard Penrith fans think that their back line is also top class. Sad isn't it.
Milky I love how one-eyed you are, but objectively, our back line is probably bottom 2 in the comp on paper. Let's face reality and try and get some experienced talent.

that's harsh. bottom TWO?

ours is good, but its lacking that bit of extra class that separates it from Roosters or Souths to some extent. Hopefully that will come through Brooks and the other young guns as they develop over 2014 and into 2015.

A class back sigining like B. Ferguson would go along way in helping them develop, giving confidence and allowing them to flourish in a far more professional set up. Not like we had in 2013.

I spoke to Simona recently. He says he should be ready to go by round 1.
I would consider putting him at 4 and moving Lawrence to the back row if in preseason he still doesn't look like regaining his speed. He could play a Luke Lewis type role. Or maybe use Richards in NSW Cup.

He wouldn't be too far wrong honestly If not bottom 2 definitely bottom 4

Go through the sides yourself pHyR3 , you'll see what he is getting at

Potentially it is different , but this is the current situation

sharks would have a worse backline than ours.

and dragons, and eels and penrith would be about the same, maybe slightly worse.

besides slater storm are worse

broncos are ordinary: maranta, hoffman, reed and scott prince only ones that even register for me.
