Just listening to the Thompson interview on our Website , the way Thompson was talking when he got asked about the Tedesco confirmation that he was staying , Thompson replied " exciting times with all the other kids that have signed up and can't wait to be a part of it ".
Would it be fair to presume that he has been told that he will be signed ? that is the impression i'm getting , I think he has been an un sung hero for us this year going about his business.

Can't presume anything. We have a lot of forwards some will have to be let go.
Personally I would get rid of Blair and Moltzen somehow and resign Thompson, Sitaleki, Gavet and Ava.

Hope so, has definitely been one of our best all year. Would be pretty good value id imagine too

I am resigned to the fact we can't re-sign them all. I hope moltz makes it back this year and stars in NSW cup…then the Tigers can offload him for 2015... To Canberra......

Ricky isn't one to hold a grudge is he ?
I can see Canberra now targeting Moltzen Bodene and a few others.

Just saw on twitter that Mayer said when asked about Gavet's contract "he's on contract for 2015."
I thought he was off contract too. Well done to the club for locking up both Bodene and Jimmy if true. We're in a position to pick and choose from here.

I would like to see Bodene play less minutes. He has done a good job as an 80 minute player, but with his mobility and power i think he could be much more dynamic in shorter bursts.

Should be a solid team, as we have the spine and solid forwards all here for the next couple of years.
So assuming Thompson is signed up. Who's left that we need to lock up? Apart from Potter.

Who to keep and who to let go changes from year to year. Form and contract money each play a part in the decision making. A really good but unproven young player may be the first option over a seasoned but slightly out of form first grader.

Then you have to look at current contracts, potential contracts and other personnel in those positions.

I would keep Thompson over Blair based purely on the money difference.
