WESTS Tigers forward Bodene Thompson is facing up to two games on the sidelines after being hit with a dangerous contact charge.
The NRL Match Review Committee handed down a grade one charge to Thompson for his hit on Jamie Soward in the 26th minute of Sunday’s loss to the Panthers at Leichhardt Oval.
With an early guilty plea, Thompson will be sidelined for one match, but if he unsuccessfully challenges the charge at the judiciary, he’ll be out for two due to carry-over points from a prior offence.
The Tigers have until midday tomorrow to enter a plea.
