Jeff should call time after this fight.
Horn is plenty tough, hopefully he will give a good account of himself. Will be interesting to see how Tszyu handles the step up. Don't really see anything special in TT though, unlike his legendary father.
There is no doubting his toughness and courage, gosh, It’s what got him this far. He will certainly earn his purse. But he’s a slugger and a brawler. It’s starting to show in his speech. I’ve sparred with enough title holders and contenders to understand the difference in the techniques/style. Tyson was a brawler, but because his fights lasted a few seconds he was able to have a relatively long career.
You’re right, it will be interesting to see how Tim handles the jump to a more experienced fighter, however, Horn has a style which suits him.
Tyson was a brawler but he was also underrated in the defensive qualities of his technique in his early years and heydey, he was always moving.
Yes, always moving. He was a hard target. He and his trainer developed such a great style to suit his physique and natural skill. I may add, if your style is walk up punching in close then you need to be able to take a a few.
Tyson was once asked..what makes you so good? He replied, when I get in the ring, I go in there to kill someone.
Of course the average person wouldn’t admit to that, just in case it actually happened.
