Braith Anasta and Tim Moltzen set to leave the tigers ??

i wouldnt like it if moltzen left.. we have invested a lot of time in him and he does have some talent. he was improving as a player under potter and unlike aysh, lawrence, benji and braith- he wont be having a full season under potter to be ale to judge him.

i hope both anasta and moltzen are kept- with anasta as the starting 5/8 while moltzen regains confidence in state cup.

Anasta offers us nothing on the other hand Moltzen gives us coverage for most back line positions.Okay we are probably paying him well over the odds, but at least he may offer something.Although being part of the old boys club,I think the club will be he'll bent on offloading him

Anasta will be a stabilizing factor in 2014, the young halves will benefit from him being at the club.

Only one year to run.

Be positive…

U guys are on drugs if you think anasta and moltzen have anything to offer. Anasta another year older and slower and less motivated. Moltzen has at least another year to be fully recovered from surgery and was never any good after his first knee reconstruction. Would have been gone if not for benji.

bwahhahahahahah Anasta are thease the same people who were defending his signing last year? I won't say I told you so again, this guy should just retire, he is the worst playe rin the NRL to quote Warren Ryan

Got a feeling we'll see one of, not both, move on at the end of the season. Moltzen seems the more likely to move and we could at least use one of them as insurance next season. Of the two i'd rather we kept Moltz. He's younger and more versatile. What concerns me though is how long it takes for him to fully recover from the injury. He's a risky investment to have on the books.

Moltzen was in quite good form when he was injured. And, as has been pointed out, he covers a lot of positions in the backs and he knows where the tryline is.

Surely, even in these 'Rugby League is a business and the Wests Tigers is a brand' days of heartlessness, the fact that Tim is contracted to WT and he was injured playing in our colours should mean that the club has a duty to oversee his rehabilitation and give him the chance to prove that he can still play.

As for Anasta, I feel sorry for him but his form is abysmal. Last week he only made 5 tackles.

your kidding .. does time make people forget , out of site out of mind .moltzen is average at best and like most of our aging players .not up to first grade standard

Out of the two average players I'd prefer to keep moltzen you would have to say he is at least experienced enough to help brooks along Anasta offers little moltz can fill in at half fullback centre more versatile

I think we've got enough depth at fullback for next season with Richards available to cover for Tedesco. If Moltzen plays first grade I think it will be in the inevitable rotation of halves pairings.

I think Motzen's best position would be 5/8 (defence is no worse than what has been there for the last 10years). So I would keep him before Anasta.

Moltzen plays for himself ,,so how does he offer brooks any experience ?

I must admit I thought Anasta would have worked out a lot better than he has. The guy has either totally lost form, isn't interested or possibly both. He either needs to go to the ESL or hang up the boots. His performances have been declining all year. If he's here next year you can only hope his pride will force him to perform better or else he'll be finishing him up playing Wyong and Mounties which I think would be rather sad for someone of his (former) talents.

Potter has a lot to do with the way Anasta has played. He didn't know what role he was meant to play.
He is a lock and that's where he should have played
