He's re-writing history at the Roosters,they tried him in every position except ballboy in the last couple of season there but he was just too slow for the pace of games.Smith & Politis wanted him gone and he wasn't in Robinson's plans either so its a very rose coloured look at events by Anasta. I remember he was being shopped around at the time and the Tigers was the only taker so not sure what he's on about with Souths.

I read the article a few days ago but my recollection of it is that when he was talking about Souths being keen on him he was talking about the time he signed with the Roosters. When he left the Roosters Souths told him to get stuffed so he signed with the Tigers and made our lives all the more miserable in the doing.

This guy is such a douche bag. I saw him in a cafe down here in Melbourne last year when we played the Storm. He was obviously in town for the Fox Sports coverage.

He was having breakfast with a few other metro looking douche bags. I asked our waitress what he was like to speak to and she said he kept talking about how he used to be a football player and now works in TV. She couldn't give a rats, this being an AFL town and all.
Just looking at him sitting there with his fake tan, jug-ears and skinny jeans made me want to give him a flying kung fu kick to the face.

Braith has an axe to grind with the tigers, so obviously he has been short-changed somewhere by the club. Realistically, we have been a basketcase off the field for a long time so his statements probably have merit considering this isnt the first time we have heard such statements.

Moving forward we can only hope this embarrasses the club into action to improve the club.

I just want to know what the expectation is. Braith went from Dogs to Roosters to us, of course our facilities were not as good, we don't have the cash flow.

For all the 10s of millions that Dessie spends at Belmore every year, it's not doing him much good at the moment.

Fundamentally you need space to run and heavy things to lift. The cutting-edge technology might take you to a few % higher and into the better performing clubs, but I'd like us to at least make the finals on a regular basis first.

It does make you wonder why we are still so far behind. I thought Wests Leagues Club, at least, was doing well and of course we have the richest bloke in Australia as our supposed No 1 supporter, but he obviously couldn't be stuffed putting any of his precious millions into helping out the club he supposedly loves so much :unamused:

Did not one of our players comment that last season was the easiest on training, if we had high tech equipment players and officials would know exactly where they stand on fitness scale, it could not be hidden. It is no longer the olden days where the footie players all worked on the garbage run for fitness. I would have to qualify that statement, I remember Artie was a brickie or labourer - he did not fit the mode of those guys running alongside the garbage truck all day.

What surprises me is how many players of thinner build can't do eighty minutes??

Hopefully one good thing to come out of the story is WT management pull their finger out and upgrade the facilities.

Unfortunately it may have been a case of most of the $$$ coming in via investment, sponsorship etc has been going into payouts for ex-coaches, ex-CEOs/board members, ex-players etc.
