Braith Anasta

Bwaif adds nothing to our side. He doesn't tackle, he isn't a strong runner and we do not need his playmaking or kicking. The fact that he's been dropping ball and giving away penalties is just icing on the cake. Get rid of him.
 
Put him in as a ball playing lock. Played great for the rooters in that role in 2010\. Miller got injured against penrith so it was pretty handy having a former rep half step in for the last 20 mins. He's a good footy player.

Benji and Robbie's egos are off the charts at the minute. Braith has played against the tigers for 13 seasons now. I like the idea of Braith telling everyone how they are percived by the rest of the NRL. Talented but soft.
 
I hoped Braith would be a wide running second rower who ran good lines and chimed in with ball playing and kicking duties when need to be to take pressure off our halves but it seems that was wishful thinking. He looks very flat in attack and defense and I think it is detrimental to have two small forwards starting. Personally I would give him another chance but off the bench this time. That might spark him into performing but it could be better for his game to inject him when some of the bigger forwards are starting to tire. Maybe this way he wouldn't be physically overwhelmed by larger forward packs. Hopefully his form improves as he appears to have a good attitude at least from the outside.

its too early to tell.
he looked good in trials.
round 1 was a write off.
and round 2, he had limited opportunities.
we gave blair a year to settle in.
braith wont need anywhere near as long.
im sure we'll see some positive signs soon.
 
lol@ those that say its to early to tell and he is still fitting in ….. I told you weeks ago he adds NOTHING, his been useless for years. I watched him play week in and week out since he joined us, I know what he has and what he doesn't, and sorry to tell you but what you see is what you get.

On a positive at least he hasn't played 80mins for 1m......yet, I predict by round 7 you will be calling for his head, but by then he will be wearing number 6 and you'll be doomed...

He is a born lock. He would give direction where Benji doesnt and fill in when the half goes missing. Anasta is going through a bedding in period where he is not the dominant person in the side and he just needs some time to come out. He will come good. Have faith as we are too quick to judge new recruits when they dont start on fire.

Don't act all pious when you specifically created an account to log in and **** stir about a new recruit.

Then continuously log back in (after saying you wouldn't) just to antagonise and laugh at us. Bloody oath you have done everything to deserve hostility. So don't cry about it when it happens.

There is nothing to stop you posting, so don't play the martyr card either.
 
Hmmmmmm Jury still out on Anasta. Can he still use his ball playing skill also, or is he there as a forward only. If thats the case he need to step it up as Fulton is doing all the tackling. Come on back row, sort yourselves out.

lay off roosterman, honestly. I can understand the hatred of him a month ago but he was bloody right. Bwaiff sums him up. you can't say, oh he's trying to find his place. HOW BOUT HE PICKS UP THAT BLOODY BALL. Forgot he had signed with the tigers until I saw posts about him here cause i didnt see him all game. That's not finding your place that's being a pussy that doesnt want the ball. Anyone can pull on a tigers jersey play 40-50 min and have a good 5 runs by just demanding the ball or standing next to the dummy half. Not asking braith to knock up 100m, even 50 is good as long as they are GOOD metres achieved by running good lines and the like.

Now, as a tiger fan i'm remaining optimistic that he comes good in the end, hopefully in golden point against the roosters in the semis :wink:

Although, keep in mind we DID get him for 200k. bit of a bargain if he pulls his finger out a bit like blair has done (although blair was definitely not a bargain).
 
There wouldn't be an issue if his posts were constructive, but he logged in tonight specifically to laugh at us. Screw that, we wouldn't accept a Tigers fan doing it so whats different about him?

Thanks for the heads up, because none of us ever watched a Roosters game before, Anasta was pretty much unheard of on here before he signed. Your warning has been very helpful now we can.....??? Oh right, we don't make selections or drop people.

Are you that naive to think you needed to come here, sign up and educate/warn us all about a player most of us watch every single week?
