What a career he has had, i will admit i wasn't the biggest Anasta fan but he certainly has improved during the past few games. I hope his career isn't over and he comes back for a big finish, honestly had a great career and it's always sad when someone gets sent off like that.

Goodluck with your future if you can't make it back to the field again.

he's constantly been voted the most overrated player- but if everyone says he's overrated doesnt make him overrated does it?

he's had a fine career. tough as nails.

His long career has had its ups n downs of course. He was always a good skilful player and we still see glimpses of it. Just as important, off field he is a decent person. Never heard anything bad about him. I too would like to see him back in the team to finish his career off but in saying that i also think its time to give someone else a chance in the no. 6\. Good luck in the future Braith.

If he has ruptured his bicep as suspected, then his career finished yesterday. Having done the same injury myself, it's not a pleasant recovery and he'll be out for the rest of the season.

If that's true Willow, what a shame. No one deserves to have their career pulled short from Injury. Even if its only a few months short.

Fitting conclusion if that injury is the end of his career. "Partial bicep tear" sounds unfufilled and over stated.

Still, I think he has added value the past two years, simiar to what Scott Sattler brought to the club in 2004\. Further, give credit where credit is due, I enjoyed his discussion with Hayne yesterday when penalised for a lifting tackle.

"Dangerous? Yep, I was really concerned for his welfare on the down in that tackle…."

I wouldnt wish injury on the guy, but after his round of golf with Teddy I think its an extremely fitting way for him to go out with us.

He has an will continue to nurture our young halves talent, even if only from the sideline and at Concord for the rest of the season.

We are already seeing Brooks benefit from having had him beside him, both on and off the feild, though of course, many on here will disagree for whatever reason, even playing golf.

He has been a good player for many years, and from all reports, or lack of them, a good bloke. We will benefit from his time here for a few years to come.

Im gonna miss Braith. He was a legend of the game.
But i can still not forget 2010.
He drove a stake through my heart.

It was the age of Aquarius.

Well the way I see it is that Braith being out of the team is what a lot of us here have been calling for. Even though this is not the best way for it to happen, it's the only way it was going to happen… ironic that just when he was starting to silence the knockers he's out.

And with Tedesco gone it's time for the coaches and team to accept a new style of 5/8 and FB, train for it and run with it. It'll be interesting to see what we get from Austin.

And even more interesting to see if the forum opinions were correct...

He might decide to go around again

It might not be in Tigers colours though

No one wants to be retired by an injury

I was thinking exactly the same . If this injury is season ending it may prolong his career . Like you said Happy he might want to go round again ?
God I hope we don't offer him another year .

I think Braith knows he has come to the end of the road, the only club that would offer him the money to go through it for another year is the Raiders and he is not going to up and move to Canberra

I'd be shocked if he went around again. He just got to lead out the boys at Leichhardt as captain in front of a packed hill. Pretty good way to finish I reckon.
