Most of these types of pieces are 'paint by numbers' stuff; utterly forgettable. But there is at least one line in there which I reckon says a lot about Santi " Nobody will ever remember that run but me; I'll never forget it". Thats the sort of thinking I like in my footy players. I like what I have seen of Santi so far. Reckon he might be the new Fulton.

That stood out to me too.

Good luck to him. Good story.

Firstly this kid is WTs heart and soul, secondly with his attitude he will be in FG before we know it…

Hard work should be commended.....

great to see him back with the tigers he is a very good player he loves to play with his mates from the under 20s that's what I like to hear that's what a football club should do grow your own

Actually we stole him from the Dogs…but yeah great to see his attitude...think he'll see a bit of FG this year

He was likened to Terry Lamb by Jerry but he reminds me a bit of Geoff Robinson when he was young (both Terry and Geoff were Chester Hill boys like Brendan)

Ive always been a fan of Santi.

He has great work rate and is pretty effective as well.

I like this article, I like seeing how excited a young bloke is fulfilling his dream.

Interesting comparison, hadn't really thought of him like that. If he has any ball playing ability in him then it's definitely a mould he can fill.

I think he played in the halves earlier in his career in one of the lower grades if anyone can confirm?

So hopefully he's still got a bit of ball skills from those days.

He played back row in all the rep stuff, possibly played in the halves as a really young guy.

I got bagged last year from some for being happy on Santi's return from Parramatta , i was told at the time " why if we have Sue , Halautau etc.

He's the man.
Stoked on his return.
Can see him being the man we need to get the job done.
