Nsw rugby league is crap, how do i get an update of any vb state cup game.Even 2gb only rarely give you the half and fulltime score. Bloody pa·thet·ic. !!!

yes was earlier 38 -18 apart from moors chislom not much else bad allround no defence. i will update balmain games as well matts and ball.

I saw most of the game (though I had the kids and was a bit distracted). Agree with Damo on Moors and Chisolm. And Gower. I thought Tim Simona was strong, and Ben Murdoch Masila ran with a lot of power. Overall, like last week, very disappointing in defence. Illawarra cut them up far too easily. John Grant looks the good ( ie he's tall and big and quick) but had almost no involvement. Did not come looking for the ball once, even to take a run to help out the forwards unlike the other winger (name escapes me sorry). Looks this season could be ugly for BRET.

Kamuta?

I liked what I saw of his involvement in Round 1 vs the Bears…

Yes Watto, that's the bloke. Not huge but had a real dig.

Agree on the most part, but have to disagree re Chishom. He was horrible in the first half, just plain dumb at times. They had a few chances early in the game and just needed some composure, but each time he came up with a dumb play that cost them. Moors and Murdoch-Masilia were good though, and it's a shame Grant can't get any ball in space, because he does look dangerous.

Chisolm looked like he didn't want to be there. His attitude stinks until there is a chance to play fancy.

Port is not a fullback. He barely did anything, didnt support the ball runner and didnt effectively direct the line. Meaney looked good when he finally started taking the fullbacks scoots and attacking the middle.

Port would be my bench player with Davis to right centre.

The distinct lack of forwards is noticeable, so much so that Al Schirnack is playing after coming out of retirement to play on the back of no off season.

The English fellow is a few steps behind the pace and Spence needs a full year in this grade.

Dissapointing but there were signs of improvement

Yeah look I missed a lot of the first half, came in at 18-0 so will take your word on Chisolm and his horrible first half. I thought he went all right in the second. I didn't know about Shirnack coming out of retirement and so no off-season as the last two weeks I couldn't understand why he was playing so few minutes - probably still getting match fit.
