st Minute: underway and the Centurions complete their first set courtesy of a good kick by Scott Briggs.
rd Minute: Peter Mata'utia has busted them open and given the ball to a flying McDonnell however he loses his footing and is easy prey for the Tigers defence.
th Minute: TRY First try of the day goes to Junior Moors who simply barges over from close range. Soft try in the end. Meaney converts and the the Tigers lead it 6-0.
th Minute: off the restart the Tigers can't handle the kick-off and the Centurions will now have a great opportunity to strike back. A grubber on the last is forced over the line by the Tigers and they will have to drop it out again.
th Minute: TRY a great try by the Tigers! Mullaney split the Centurions open, offloaded to Jack who passes to Ndaira who spotted Jake Clarke wide open to his left in puts in a beautiful grubber which sits up perfectly for Clarke and he scores a great try. Meaney converts and the Tigers are racing the clock. Tigers 12 CCC 0.
th Minute: another chance for the home side but Mata'utia who is playing 5/8 today throws a cut out ball to Tua that has too much on it and it flies over the touchline. The Centurions are looking a little rusty after the bye.
th Minute: the Centurions are starting to dominate field position but the Tigers defence continues to repel them.
th Minute: the Centurions are looking a little disorganised with the loss of Ryan Stig. The last two sets Con MIka has found himself at second receiver and been forced to kick and has thrown an intercept. They need Scott Briggs to put his hand up to help break this staunch Tigers defence.
nd Minute: another attacking raid comes to nothing for the Centurions. This time Briggs does get his hands on it on the last but his high ball is defused well by Jake Mullaney in goal.
th Minute: starting to sound like a broken record but the Centurions try as they might cannot break this Tigers defence. They have had all of the ball and just cant capatalise. Who will put their hand up for the home team?
th Minute: TRY the Tigers are in again… They have had 5 sets in the Centurions 20 and scored 3 times.. while the Centurions would have had to have had at least 10 sets at the other end and haven't looked like scoring! Sam Latu was the man to score for the Tigers and Meaney was unable to convert. Tigers 16 CCC 0.
th Minute: The Tigers have been dominant thus far and that is pretty spectacular given they have spent most of the half coming out of their own end. Heaven help the Centurions if they actually start getting some good field position.
th Minute: in the shadows of the break the Centurions made one last attempt to break them up the middle but the final pass by Alec Fata goes to ground. A frustrating first half to say the least for the Centurions.
Half Time well I would like to be a fly on the wall in the Centurions dressing sheds! It appears they have brought their troubles from Harker Oval a fortnight ago here to Morrie Breen. No such concerns for the Tigers as they are looking every bit the side that was a contender in 2010.
