Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers Coach Paul Fletcher has announced his team for Round 10 of the NSW Cup.

The Tigers take on the Auckland Vulcans at Mt Smart (2) on Saturday, May 5, at 1pm.

Coach Fletcher will be looking for a much improved performance after a disappointing second half display in the 50-22 loss to Windsor Wolves at Leichhardt Oval last Saturday.

I would imagine Moors and Utai are just travelling with the NRL squad

Knee injury last week.

Was unsure of degree of it but must not be too good

Very small side. It will be a tough ask for the forwards to contain the Vulcans pack. Having said that, if Balmain can hold the ball and dominate possession, they might just be able to run them around a bit.
 
INteresting search on teh net…cant remeber the forum...but it was about 2 yrs old...the thread was called Fastest Player in the NRL. Both Dane Chisolm (storm) and Jy Hitchcox (Titans) rated a mention from different people.

Dane Chisolm rated fastest player at Melb Storm
Jy Hitchcox 2nd fastest at Titans just behind Kevin Gordon

Both these guys were in under 20s at the time.

and both School mates and now house mates from Mullumbimby! ran in the school open boys relay at state together. I reckon Dane was quicker back then before beefing up down at the storm!

Should bolster the forward pack and be a good experience for the young fellas.
 
I have hot news too which is not good…..hear a rumour that one of the star players in BRET side may have broken his ankle at training tonight.

Was talk last night that Tim Simona was OK to go. Tim to fullback and Sean back to centre.

Bad luck for Jy been going well.
