Ringrose Park
2:30pm kick-off

Everyone to get out there and support the boys, a very good chance considering they beat them two weeks ago at Leichhardt.

Thanks Matty for posting…..good looking team....but it going to be a tough one at Ringrose, with some aggro still present, by the sound of the report from Leichhardt two weeks ago.

Good luck to BRET in this one, it's going to be a very tough game but they've named a fair side. Interesting to see Roqica named on the wing for this match.

Willow, Junior played on the wing against the Jets, last week, and took a lot of hitips from kick returns…big boy, but looked slower than what I remember seeing him....I guess he's up against harder defence than NYC and seemed aprehensive at times

This is a real must win.

Looking at the CC Storm side they are vunerable to the Magpies which would mean we lose we are out

Urrgggg Smeg…hate these must win games!!

It's a pity that Hanbury missed out qualifying for BRET.....can't remember that ruling....is it total games played for the NRL more than what he played for the State Cup...8 or more, or that he is the total 25?

Does anyone know the rule?

Looks as though Handbags doesn't qualify to play. He will be missed this finals series.

The team isn't far off the one i named yesterday:

Roqica on the wing is a must IMO, as the lack of size in the 3/4 line has been a concern all year. And Etu Uaisele carved us hard out wide earlier in the year. Hopefully Jr can keep the pace with him, but he has bulked up a fair bit in recent times.
Mortimer at the back spells danger and i hope this has set the alarm bells off for Fletch, as he must be contained if they are to shut down their line breaks.
Tough ask for a depleted BRET side, but considering they have played over half a season with barely any prop forwards they have done remarkably well to make it this far.
Good luck boys!!

Yeah Tough one CT…....the Tigers have to arrive at Ringrose in a better frame of mind that the mismash they played at Henson on Saturday.

I am not a great reader of the Brett Team or results but can anyone explain why Junior Roquica is not playing in Toyota Cup for the Wests Tigers this weekend aginst the Broncos as I was positive he was playing earlier this year?

I am not sure of his age. At a guess i would think Sheens has him earmarked at some degree to be fast-tracked due to his good size. Sheens did give him a run with 1st grade vs Shellharbour during the trials at the start of the year though.
Perhaps with the departure of Peni Tagive, there could be some sort of opening to fill the void.

Friggin' hot out here at Ringrose , with the tigers playing in the Eastwood strip…..and Wentworthville Just kicking off....with Wests up 30-4 against the Stor
, this is a must win now... If it wasnt before

UPDATE FROM RINGROSE PARK:
A CONVERTED TRY TO BALMAIN'S JOSH LEWIS HAS THE SCORE BALMAIN 6 LEADING WENTWORTHVILLE 0.

Great start BRET too…...... :wahoo:

Webtworthville's lock Brendan Oake scores by lunging under the post on the last and then as I'm posting this he scores again a minute later under the posts again….uuurrrgg!!!

Wentworthville 12 - 6 with 9 to play in the first half

Not good TigerGran, as WM just scored from the own half, right on the sideline, with the Tiges missing heaps of tackles.

To add salt to our wounds … An awesome conversion to make it 18-6 down

Tigers just scored with40 seconds left on the clock, as Junior looked to score right on his sideline, but gets stopped only for him to flick it back in hope , and Meaney gathers it and he goes in…another great conversion...this time by Lewis.

A game on with the Half time score ..WM 18 - Tigers 12.

Thanks for the updates Alad! Who have been the standouts? If we manage to complete our tackles are we a chance of coming back?
