He's a club legend and he'll have a massively positive impact on the club going forward, especially lolo's goal kicking and fullback play.

Very good news. We should have full-back play and goal kicking covered with Hodgo and Ivan.

Pity it doesn't always work out that way though. Last year we should of had half back play and goalkicking covered with JT. We got neither.

How can you assess the performance of assist coach from the outside? He was in the job in 05.

Great news on Hodgo. He's all class.

Currently, the Widnes Vikings Academy team that he is Head Coach at is currently coming 8th out of 13 teams and the Super League team he is assistant coach at is coming 2nd last.

I love the guy and think there is no bigger legend to the club than him BUT I would love to know, what will he bring to the table? Is he REALLY the right man for the job?

I'll never forget bumping into Hodgo walking into the ground before the 05 GF he was chilled beyond belief more so than me even stopped for a quick chat which i obviously wished him well. Class act would be over the moon to have him back on board.

Skando was and still is a very good clubman. He knows the value of hard work. He does a lot for this club.

In the early rounds I did think that Moses' goal kicking had improved. But sure, it doesn't always work out. I'm still very happy that Hodgo is on board.

Very laid back. Hodgo famously fell asleep during the team photo the day after the 05 grand final. Sheens woke him up by tipping a bottle of water over him. Hodgo just sat there and smiled. It had been a big night. Great to have him back.
