I actually think they won't fully understand how much they'll miss Luai. I still think they'll be strong but not nearly as dominant.

Most of the QLD teams he played in are in the top 20 best SOO sides ever.
The Kangaroo sides he played in are amongst the best sides the code has ever seen.
Same goes for Joey.

Couldn't be further from the truth. Other than guys like Bowen, Morgan, Scott, he was surrounded by great but not elite players. Penrith is full of elite players the best in their own positions, who are all special in their own way. JT did play in great origin teams, as does nathan, but nathan also choked against the 'worst QLD team' in 2020. JT's never done that. Joey too. The 2022 decider nathan lost was partly his fault too
