I agree. But probably wouldn’t if we were in North Korea. Great site, but lets not give up what the Anzacs fought for. Freedom and Freedom of Speech. Mods generally doing great and for a long time. Credit given for where its due. But please lets not make this Fan Forum a nanny forum. And yes there are limits and lines that shouldn’t crossed.

I was enjoying your post and agreeing with the talking about footy part but then inexplicably you devolved into the the same baiting that you were saying you dont enjoy , or maybe I am just reading it wrong .... but ,,,,,, I often get very critical of Brooks after a game and vocal on here but I LOVE it when he proves me wrong ... as a die hard tigers fan nothing makes me happier then when he played like he did on Friday night, I would be stoked, overjoyed , and mightily impressed were he to repeat this and go on to become the player we hoped he would have . He is mighty likeable , he’s a loyal tiger supporter apparently and nothing would make me happier then for him to become a clutch player and match winner for the mighty tigers ...I just hope it is possible as he is 155 games in and it would be a statistically unusual a abberation for a player to take that long to hit his straps and become a gun marquee match winner , but it’s not impossible and it would be fantastic for him to be the outlier !!!

While we are on this topic of appropriacy for the forum I have noticed a lot more posts with either disguised swearing or actual mild swearing not being deleted in the last three weeks or so.

I had a post with disguised deleted about a month ago - it deserved it if the rule is absolutely no swearing but now I'm a little confused. Is some disguised swearing acceptable? Is mild swearing acceptable?
Could we have clarification around that?

I can only really speak for myself but will no longer be deleting disguised swearing. It still breaches forum guidelines so if you do post in that manner you still run the risk of it being deleted.

I understand you don't have a problem with it 🙂

I do get it when people are venting frustration and sometimes go too far (done it myself) but given the site does try to accommodate all ages, genders etc am glad there are standards.

Kul - what are your thoughts on it these days? Happy with whatever you decide but just seeking clarity so I can stay within the guidelines.

Seriously mate, there have been many who haven't been happy with Brooks early form, I was one of them, but he has changed his game up noticeably imo, not sure what has happened for that, but it seems to have changed since Mbye moved to 6? Don't know if that is just coincidence or not?

Just think we need to be fair on players assessments.
