Aussie is the only big provided 100% based in Australia. They have zero intent to move offshore and just opened a new call center in Perth a few months ago and last week moved to a giant big office space in Dandenong Vic that was 4x bigger than the previous space. They don’t focus on KPIs around call times etc its all about doing whats needed to help the customer.

I suggest getting fast broadband, not slow broadband. Works much better

I am having an appalling time after i signed up to Optus NBN.Absolutely nothing i was promised is happening and to make matters worse they did not even organise NBN to do their part.AVOID them.

I was with Optus prior to switching onto the NBN and couldn't stand them - poor service and disconnecting was even more frustrating. I'm with Aussie broadband and they're been the best ISP I've used, just ahead of iPrimus. I'd happily recommend them and customer support is based in Australia - Not Malaysia.

Thanks to eveyone who has responded to me.for an old bugger like me who would not have a clue it has been very helpful
