Recreational drug use has been riff in the sporting world for decades, and Rugby League is no stranger to it either. Now while the use of recreational drugs is a community problem, the negative press about sporting bodies have bought this on themselves with there 'head in the sand' approach to it.
This is the 6th time this season this has raised its head, and is continually portraying a negative spin on the game of rugby league. I'd suggest the ARLC will be bunkered down over the next few weeks looking at bringing in swift and harsher policy about this to get themselves out in the community promoting a better image for the game. [They are never going to stop recreational drug use]
Once they start there spin in the media, look out who next gets caught!
