Seems like the knights might miss their man here…...
Thought he was a done deal to the coalfields

The sooner the NRL gets another Brisbane team to clip the Broncos the better it will be for the whole competition.

Matty Johns needs some new inside scoops after coming out and saying it was going to happen last week

Proves Kent ,Buzz , Crawley ,Hooper ,Ritchie and Massoud aren't the experts they thought

We should actually compare their strike rate of getting players movements right

Man I am sick of the Broncos and their complete rorting of the system. Their salary cap is in the next stratosphere. If they get Bird it'll make a complete mockery of the cap.
Is it not enough that they're on TV every Thursday and Friday night?

A reported 1.2 mil offer a season…... what even is a salary cap lol

I could see it being made easy because it is the Broncos. Look at how common a name Lockyer is.
You get a name like Bird playing at Nr1 for a few years I could see the sponsorship dollars. Plus Brisbane have their corporate donors lined up to give money where needed.

What I still don't understand is how Jarryd Hayne can get a corporate contract based on him signing with the titans? TPA's should be independent.

Seems like what is happening off the field is far more interesting than what is happening on it - that is how it is reflected on here .
Have a feeling it may be similar with quite a few fan forums where clubs are trying to retain/ recruit players.

Again if you want to blame someone for that , the Titans and Cowboys are your target

People need to travel to get to Cowboys home games and to a lesser degree Titans home games

When Sydney club games pull crowds of 40 000 plus I suppose they will start taking Friday games off Brisbane …....

I've heard they will be posting a revenue forecast of $46M for 2016, which is $10M more than their closest NRL rival for the same period.

The biggest difference is they see themselves as a National Franchise, while most Sydney Clubs continue to act like Sydney Franchises. We need to change our focus to grow the brand commercially to a wider audience!

How many Bronco supporters are there in Goondiwindi…?
