Should be a great game tonite, two good teams

Fittler interviewing Trent Robinson:
BF: "Hows Mitch Pearce going, theres been a bit of scrutiny in the press about him lately"
TR: "Mitch is good, I dont read the papers so I dont know what scrutiny there is, hes in good form"
BF: "OK good luck"

WTs - take note. Knock the crap on the head immediately

I like listening to Robinson talk, very calm and analytical…Id love to see him at another club, to really see just how good a coach he is

Looking forward to this match up , imagine JWH and Thaiday will clash again

Be surprised if we see 6 + margin in this one

Wouldn't it be nice to have either of these forward packs

Broncos looking very good tonight. 10+ Broncs. Keen to see how Evan's goes when he comes on

I think we got a decent read of how good of a coach Mumps Robinson was last season TBH. With a fairly strong roster he got them 14th or 15th wasn't it? Looked like a genius when he had a full 17 of rep players a few seasons ago.
McGuire, Robinson, Bennett and Hasler are all in the same boat IMO, none have ever coached an average roster to any success.

Can we please admire some of these two stats:

In 40 minutes Tautau Moga has run 197m
Also, Thaiday has scored a first-half hat-trick

Kahu has made some errors positionally. We need to make him an offer to play 5/8, would be cheaper than Moses and kicks goals at a higher percentage. Would leave some money for other positions.

Tell you what, I reckon Aubusson is one of the most underrated second rowers in the game. Doesn't miss many tackles, run some nice lines and always supporting his team-mates in attack and defense. I'm definitely not calling him one of the best, just underrated.

Woops, nice mock.

Roosters defending very Tiger-like tonight, how disappointing for the fans and punters.

I didn't think Aubusson was the reason for that. But I hope that convinces Teddy that every team has off weeks. Might give him a bit more confidence that the Tigers have some hope on the horizon.

Half his side were missing for half a sesson

The stats site I looked at states Pearce, Cordner and JWH only played half the season. Supposedly all of their other star players played 19 games or over. Not sure how accurate it is but from memory the Roosters massively underperformed with the available talent they had at their disposal yet Robinson's coaching was never questioned. Certain clubs attract more scrutiny than others it seems, rightly or wrongly.

Robinson is a smooth operator - I really like him. He gives me the impression his priorities are:
1\. Rugby league
2\. Roosters
3\. Trent Robinson

As opposed to someone like Wayne Bennett… who's priorities are:
1\. Wayne Bennett
2\. Broncos
3\. Rugby league
